This book accomplishes one of my parenting goals...infusing my children’s education with science, technology, engineering and mathematics information. I’ve been looking for historical figures beyond the traditionally mentioned individuals such as Edison, Bell, etc... I’d never heard of Percy Spencer until I saw this book at the library. I couldn’t have told you who invented the microwave. This book is well written and actually part of a series called Inventors at Work! I am motivated to seek out the other titles as well.
