the entire text can be summed up in one sentence: play I important...plus the writing was just plain horrid...

Assigned text for one of my classes. The formatting is meh and like many textbooks it spends a lot more time justifying its existence than actually providing valuable information, often spinning a piece of advice that could be summed up in a sentence into a full chapter. It also advises telling children that boys have penises and girls have vaginas, which is depressingly bad advice to give anyone let alone educators in the year 2020.
