For what it is, it's definitely a good read. If you're into learning more about vulnerability testing you might want to give it a read. Since the book is rather dated now, you might want to look into something a little newer. Most of the same principles apply to current day technology, but there are some older obsolete methods in this book that may not really apply to real world scenarios anymore.
