#Unitedfront: Turning Students Into Teachers

Jonathon Sutmiller has been in student ministry for more than ten years and is currently the student pastor at First Baptist Church Lavaca, Arkansas. He and his wife, Jesse, both originally from southeastern Oklahoma, work side by side with students—building relationships, caring for them, discipling them, and preparing them for the next steps of life. Jonathon began writing #unitedfront several years ago when he came to the realization he was drawing good crowds and leaving them empty. Today, Jonathon uses #unitedfront to disciple and equip those students who want more of Jesus than Sunday or Wednesday can offer them. His material is based on the reading it, memorizing it, and putting it to use in everyday life. #unitedfront has begun to spread around the Fort Smith, Arkansas, area, within churches and with students who are engaging in serious relationships with Christ. Students are being saved, and today some of Jonathon’s former #unitedfront students are in colleges or in training to be missionaries around the world.
