I love this book it’s my childhood and a core memory for me! I read this book probably a thousand times now lol
I can’t wait to read it for my future kids 🩷
Something funny I’d like to share , I went to a baseball game the other day and for some reason I thought bob and rob and thought the only thing that’s missing right now is a peanut butter sandwich 🤣

Bob and Rob are the two heads and personalities of a double-headed monster. They normally agree on everything but when they need to make an important baseball decision they disagree and it changes everything.
This book sparked some good discussion in clinic. We talked about compromise and about making choices. During pre-reading, I asked the students if they knew what a double-header was and surprisingly they did not. Even when I told them it had something to do with sports they were in the dark until I eventually had to tell them. After all that baseball buildup, they were surprised to see the book was literally about a double-headed monster. The students enjoyed this book.

Chose to read because I liked Jerry Smath's illustrations and sense of humor in But No Elephants. This is 'just' a leveled reader, but it's funny & insightful in a few different ways. Twins are sure to identify with Rob & Bob, but ordinary siblings and best friends can, too. Herman and Smath are a good team.
