This short book is one of the best I have read recently on the 'modern condition' (or whatever it might be called these days). First World problems, perennial regrets and wishes, the conditions of youth and ageing, and how journeys help us think. And all done with a comic verve that I found stunning. I've reviewed it for Sabotage Reviews, and will post a link to it soon.
