When a postman sees bodies through a window, everyone thinks that the deaths are a drug gang killings. But they're wrong. The deaths aren't anything to do with drugs. Only one person knows the truth.
Nigel Hinton was born and educated in London. After two years in advertising, he worked as an English teacher for nine years. His first novel, Collision Course (winner of the Dutch Silver Pen Award) was written as a result of a challenge from one of his pupils. He began teaching part-time and also worked as a professional actor before concentrating on his writing.
Nigel is the ever-popular author the Beaver Towers series of stories for primary school readers (which has been adapted for TV), and, for secondary school readers, he wrote the Buddy trilogy. His novel The Finders won him the Federation of Children’s Book Groups Award.
Purpose and audience. This was an easy, fun, grim read that maintains balanced nuance under straightforward prose; the nature of friendships and cause and effect in life are easy to explore. The parts where the plot is too clipped are actually easy to overcome, which is to the book’s holistic credit. Special credit to the author for its pacing!
Wow, Perry had his reasons to kill especially this lady because she did him dirty twice not once but twice 😭. She had the audacity to play him. Toddie is so annoying because what do you mean everyone will do whatever he says 😭, I swear he’s annoying. I thought Marco was a true friend he deserved to die too but the plot was mad. This style of writing is what I like to read!
I had to read this book for my English class, but I really love it! The plot was great and I really wasn’t ready for it! It’s really sad, sick and twisted but the story is great!
I requested this from the library as noticed it was a quick read (joys of being able to read library catalogue on line) and I read Buddy by the same author when i was 13 for English and really enjoyed that book. This book was quite good although YA but the main character was such as narcissit.
I thought this book was a scandalous and unpredictable book. I enjoyed every page and I thought this book suited me. I like it because its exciting and has to do with real life crime. I think that I should read more books like this ☺
