This book was awesome! :D It shares a story about Tracy Austin and how tennis was in her life. All her tournaments and practices were mentioned and each one very interesting, awesome and unique.
If you ever wondered what happen to Tracy Austin and were a big fan of hers, with that bounce she did waiting for the ball to be hit to her, well here it is...The God bespoken truth! I was a fan and follower of Tracy but didn`t have access to a computer, sports channels or major sports pages; I was in the dark till I found Beyond Center Court.
Very interesting autobiography (with a co-writer) of tennis player Tracy Austin. Her life has had a mix of incredible highs and terrible lows. Yet she came through all of it with a good attitude and seems as "normal" as one in her position could be.
The book isn't strictly chronological. She goes back and forth through time to illustrate things she wants to say about herself. That had the benefit of letting us get to know her better.
BTW, this was published in 1992 when she was only 30 years old!
