This book is a murder mystery with one ingenious twist: The main character is aware that he is an author's creation and continually interacts with his creator through a minor character of the story. And through this one minor change, every flaw, plot convenience and improbabilities doesn't feel like mistakes at all, rather they all feel like the pieces of a puzzle provided by the author to his character. Coming to the story, it's a good and twisty mystery with an ample amount of red herrings, false leads and dialogues, yes dialogues because nearly 90% of the story is told through dialogues. All in all, it's a good whodunit with a very meta twist.

Another classy thriller from the master storyteller. A double murder, an empty house, multiple suspects and the challenge to solve the case to prove that he is the best. SMP spins a typical Indian pulp-fiction crime thriller that takes us on a roller coaster ride with his favourite character, Inspector Prabhu Dayal.

If you are a fan of desi Indian crime fiction, this is a good book to start with. Looking forward to reading his other series (which is in the number above 300).

A very interesting story written in a gripping style. It is a really complicated mystery involving a dozen characters apart from the protagonist. The author has handled the complications with great skill.
The binding, printing and paper used to make this book are of good quality.

उत्कृष्ट उपन्यास।

रहस्यपूर्ण कथानक पर आधारित बेमिसाल उपन्यास जिसमें बिना सुनील की दखल अंदाजी के इंस्पेक्टर प्रभूदयाल केस को हल कर लेता है पर हत्यारे को गिरफ्तार नहीं कर पाता।
