Del is taking erotic dance classes at the Companion Centre when she locks eyes with a huge, burly alien with a vivid green gaze. He has come to secure a Companion to act as a permanent host to a goddess, but when he hears Del’s bright laughter, he changes his target from Companion to dancer.

Kurat has been raised as host to two gods. Changes in his body have made it difficult for him to take a casual lover, only a mate will do. With Del’s bright soul welcoming his, he knows the moment he meets her that she will be the one the goddesses will accept.

With the god of lust and the god of war agreeing to his choice, Kurat’s entire being is in agreement. The dancer will be theirs.

This short science fiction romance takes all kinds of twists and turns. The secondary romance is just as compelling as the primary one but we don't get to see as much of that love story as we could.

This is an interesting world and characters worth reading about.

There wasn't much of a plot in that story. A Terran dancer becomes the host of 2 goddesses and mates with the host of the 2 goddesses' husband. The man has a special anatomy and through the book they just get it on.

First book of the year for me and this one was just alright, I almost put it down from boredom in the first pages but it managed to keep my attention for a fair amount of time. I admit I have not read the first book in the series, and that may have something to do with it. So the first thing I would say that Dancer is not a stand alone at all.

I am personally used to my Sci-fi not having casual references and wording that fit into a modern or earth society and this one did so that set me off it a little bit and just kind of made me lose the feel for it. Other than that the flow was pretty decent and the writing itself was enjoyable enough. As someone who dances I did like the different descriptions of dances and some of the way to explain why Del chose such a broad course load, but we did not stay with that to long once Kurat entered the picture.

Overall this was an okay one for me, not fantastic but not terrible, I think if you have read the first book in the series you will be a bit more attached then I was to the world and what is going on with it.

I received this ARC from Netgalley I exchange for my honest review. Thank you!

This is a very short story 56 pages and what an exciting 56 pages they were.

Kurat is in search of a companion to host a goddess. Del is not a companion but a student taking erotic dance classes when she catches Del's attention. But none of the previous companions were ale to hold host to the goddess for more than 3 days. Kurat's god's of war and lust are both in agreement with Del.

I did not see the two cocks coming. But I was even more equally surprised that Del was given two vaginas. After all she is hosting the god of lusts wife.

It through me through a loop when the goddess seam to take over with their lovers. Leaving almost the possessed feeling. With 2 gods each with their lovers plus Kurat and Del's attraction there is lots of loving going on.

This was a great short little read.

The first few pages were boring but I did manage to finish the book. The culture was very weird to me and even though this was not the first book that I had read with the terran heroine going on a body alteration it was still weird. The planet had a unique history and a unique culture.

There were some hot times between the hero and heroine and between the gods and goddess host that is living inside their body. It just happens that Kurat was hosting the god of lust and war and Del get to host the goddess that was lover to Kurat's host.

Not bad. Will be read by many readers of erotic fiction, particularly those with an interest in erotic science fiction/fantasy. It was really short and not having read anything else in the same universe, I was a bit lost at times. Ending seemed to be a little abrupt and left me wondering where it carried on.
