It is February of 2000, and Arthur and Valencia Todd and their twelve- year-old daughter, Lindsy, are living very happily—until Valencia receives a life-changing phone call. Life deals her a crisis that requires a miracle of biblical proportion.
Six months later, Valencia’s life is still in shambles. As she walks on a path lined with grief, frustration, illness, and loneliness, Valencia is too frightened to seek help from doctors, on whom she quietly blames her mother’s premature death. As she prays for answers, nothing seems to heal her persistent medical condition, prompting Valencia to plummet down a dark tunnel of despair. Desperate for answers, Valencia draws inspiration from the worn pages of her mother’s Bible, fueled by an unyielding determination to find healing. But three years later, as she is led to the doors of a holistic center where she believes she will finally be helped, Valencia helplessly watches as her life disintegrates once again—completely unaware that the Holy Spirit is waiting to comfort her.
’Til the Last Drop is the inspirational story of one woman’s journey to the truth as she learns to listen to her heart, never give up, and, above all, trust in God.

Loved it. Whenever I dream of someone or out of nowhere someone pops into my thoughts, I immediately pray for them, now I know why. This story not only confirms my actions but gave me a better understanding of them.
There are times when stories that are short and to the point can truly get to the point better than a longer story would. And Marquis Boone has certainly accomplished this in his updated retelling of a dramatic healing featured in the Bible. This is a story that is clean (with the exception of one little word that was honestly not offensive), and it is fast-paced. I never found myself getting bored, and it should cause you to think, if nothing else.
About three chapters into the book, I recognized the story from the Bible--the woman with the issue of blood. I was thoroughly impressed as the author told a compelling story of a girl who struggled with something that medical science could not fix. I was greatly intrigued to read the conversation in heaven, and something truly stood out to me. It had never occurred to me that God is waiting to help us, and we don't call upon Him. Although I am not God, I felt that this story demonstrated the pathos that God experiences when His children do not call on Him, and He has to watch them suffer. He will never force Himself on anyone, and all too often, we have to get to the end of ourselves before we remember to call on him.
The story that is featured in the Gospels never gives us a glimpse into the everyday life of this woman and what her illness may have cost her. I knew that God was using this illness to draw to woman to Himself, but this book depicted that aspect of the story in a relatable way. It is possible that not all the theology is one hundred percent correct--especially concerning the conversation in heaven--but I honestly don't believe the author is writing a theological treatise. He is writing a story to make us consider a story that only covers a few verses in the Bible. He is asking us to consider our spiritual condition and whether we are relying on Him in all things. Have we strayed, or are we as close or closer than when we first believed? Have circumstances made us question His love and guidance? Jump in and read a book that will provide hope and even relief.
This is a book that I would recommend to anyone who has experienced suffering and even questioned the existence of God. This is a book that will minister to your soul if you are saved and just may cause you to consider God if you're not.
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
Til The Last Drop is an O.K. book. I love books that show our Father in Heaven and Him talking to the angels or to Jesus about us here on earth. This book does that in which I really liked. I thought that part of the book was well written and full of love and compassion.
The things I didn’t like about Til The Last Drop were how the Valencia and Arthur didn’t get along after the tragedy and how they ended up leaving each other and divorcing. I know that happens in some cases, but I didn’t think it worked for this book. When things like this happen I feel husband and wife should and often do pull together.
Also the other thing I didn’t like about this story was the surprise ending. It was quite a let down and just left me feeling empty. I was really shocked at it and wish it were different. I think this could have been a really sweet story if it were told a little different.
It’s an O.K. book if you don’t have anything better to do.

This book wasn’t very long, but, boy did it pack a punch. It was truly amazing! GOD is there for you even when you aren’t asking him to be, he is always watching out for you, no matter what. This is the story of Valencia and her journey with a medical problem. She goes through a lot, because of this. GOD hears her cries, though, even when she doesn’t realize it. He sends interceders on her part to help her through her problems. She loses a lot on this journey, including her marriage. GOD continually sends people to help Valencia on her journey, and Valencia finally realizes she needs to fully rely on GOD for everything. The ending will surprise you. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this book, maybe that it was short, but that didn’t take away from this book at all. Marquis was able to deliver an amazing message without a lot of unnecessary words and dialogue. This book will truly bless anyone who reads it, whether they are a new Christian or a long time Follower of GOD. Great job, I was blessed to read this book.
I loved this story. It is one very fast read, and once you start you won't stop until it is finished. It made me feel loved, and blessed. God is so good. We find the pressure of an illness putting such a strain on a marriage. We also find perseverance and the laying of God's hands. You see the obstacles Satan puts our ways, but God's Angles are ever vigilant. Loved the people who were put in Valencia's and Lindsy's path. Never give up and with God all things are possible. Such a wonderful inspiration. Throughout the book I keep thinking of Luke 8:40-49. Don't miss this one, it is so good!

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. Valencia Todd had the perfect life. Suddenly, a phone call one afternoon turns her life upside down. Unable to find a cure for her medical condition, Valencia plummets into a world of despair, only finding comfort from her mother’s worn bible.
Although brief, this story so moving! I loved how we get to see what happens in heaven when we pray. The end surprised me, but after thinking about it, it all made sense. Valencia had amazing unfaltering faith; her courage brought me to tears. This was a wonderfully written novel and has strengthened my faith. It proves that nothing is impossible with God!
This book was great inspiration and a reminder as to how God work in our lives. Although the story came straight from the bible the author made you able to relate because the timing of the story was current. I loved it, loved it, loved it!
