Luksusy i bogactwa będą na wyciągnięcie ręki i możesz w zasadzie zrobić coś dobrego dla świata, więc cierp, cierp!
I tak, Charley cierpi. Katolickie poczucie winy go dobija.
Poco a poco se va descubriendo la verdad de toda la trama durante este tomo y déjenme decirles que no me esperaba absolutamente nada de lo que se revela...
3, 5 for the gorgeous cyborg and body horror illustrations and the thrilling ideas that come from that, so good looking!
phew, this went on to be quite confusing and all over the place, and while I loved many, many ideas in it... the execution could have been more streamlined and controlled. unfortunately it was a bit too much all at once, but I still liked the individual ideas brought up very much :)
Starting with the culmination of the escape plan from the last volume, this book works from a running pace and keeps moving. In escaping from Alford, Rayflo has left behind his beloved Chris at the mercy of the plans being laid. Though Chris seems to be willing to follow the plan in exchange for his masters' life, he is being forced to become the spokesperson for a drug which kills 60% of people, and turns the other 40% into beings which he has so much hatred for, vampires. Abandoned by the church for his actions and kept closely guarded in the facility, will Chris be forced to go through with it? This volume seems to delve into Chris and Rayflo's true feelings and just how far they would go for one another.

This volume consists of chapters 24-29. We learn a lot about the Vassalord drug here and Alford Wayne’s plans. The interactions between Charley and Rayflo were thrilling and the clones gave me comic effect even when they probably weren’t meant to. The story has taken an interesting turn – I feel at this point as if the Barry plot was just a distraction to this Vassalord plot. I liked the Barry plot but there’s not much connection between the two plots. But I’m still intrigued. The artwork is fantastic. I’m looking forward to reading the last volume to the series.
