Kidnapping, erased memories, and monsters that will not stay under the bed ignite the pages of this thrilling romance novel. Uncover the truth as a vampire, unable to control the fates when a little girl becomes a woman, finds his desire to possess her may be her doom.

Theirs was a forever love. At least it was supposed to be…

Truman and Ember met in a cold, dark basement on the day that was to be her last.

Kidnapped by a predator at ten years old, Ember wasn’t long for this world. But even Truman, a three-hundred-year-old vampire, was incapable of escaping his humanity with her.

He follows her through her life to ensure her safety, unable to stop fighting for the scared little girl he met so many years in the past.

Truman, like all others of his kind, has the ability to erase memories of himself, and he uses this ability to come in and out of Ember’s life while protecting her from the knowledge of his kind.

When Truman finally caves in to his desire for Ember, he is forced to take the most precious memory she holds. But he never imagined he’d lose his ability to return those memories. After Ember is attacked, Truman becomes responsible for a woman without a shred of remembrance of him or their long history together.

She doesn’t trust him, and he resents her cruelty toward him, but as much as she breaks his heart, he can’t give up on them. As Truman fights to win back her trust and remind her of just how good they are at falling in love, a threat looms closer and closer.

Can he save her once more from the clutches of a monster intent on destroying her? Or will her life be lost before her memories are ever found?

Theirs was a forever love....

Whoa! Ladies this was ovary obliteration at it's finest. I knew when I read the blurb I was signed up for an intense and sensual read. Elizabeth Finn always delivers for me. This book was packed with steam and also a wonderful love story. Sign. Me. Up.

Truman Solomon, age 300 occupation : pedophile-annihilator vampire. In his spare time he is Ember's protector. He saved her when she was ten from a monster and kept watch over her as the years passed. After each encounter he would erase memories of himself. This was for Ember's protection as those were the rules within his vampire world in order to coexist with humans. I loved reading the gaps in time when Truman would appear and then they'd form their bond then he'd have to disappear and erase her memory of him. Ummmm swoon.

I really enjoyed reading how they fell in love. Truman came in and out if her world.... Saving her when she needed saving, held her when she was grieving ..... I loved it. Truman gave me several bouts of the swoon-faints ❤️

She's drunk. She told you no, and I assure you, she is my business.

Truman again saves the day !

He was in love with her. He shouldn't be. He had no business bring obsessed with her but he was. His existence wasn't compatible with hers, and life without the knowledge of him would be so much safer for her, not to mention easier. He loved her, and he had to let her go once again.

Enter creepy forces of vampire evil. They were determined to make Truman suffer. They knew he had an unhealthily attachment to Ember and the only way for Truman to protect her was to wipe her mind as a finality and leave her alone.

He was now to suffer eternity without the one woman he loved above all else in this world.

Events unfold and Truman and Ember are finally able to be together again. The only problem is that she has no memory of him or their love, she does not trust him, and they are constantly hurting each other through their actions. So enter the swoons because Truman is going to prove himself and their love and finally convince her ....

It....has....only.....ever.....been.....you....Ember

"I'm not giving up. I just wish you could remember how good we were at this."

"What if I can never remember us?"
"Then I guess we have to fall in love all over again."
"How can you be so sure that's possible?"
"Because we're so fucking good at it."

You are my ember. You smoldered in my heart for years, threatening to ignite a fire in my soul, and now that I have your fire, I'll never let it go out."

Damn.. Elizabeth Finn has done it again.. She has totally wowed me with another unforgetable story..

Truman is a vampire and he only feeds off of and kills those that are evil in this world... he stalks the rapists and pedophiles.. he ends up saving Embers life when she's 10 years old from a man that kidnapped her.. from that moment on he feels the need to protect her... and he follows her diligently throught the years saving her numerous times. Each time after he saves her, he erases her memory. When she sees him again, she alwasy feels a connection to him but still does not know him until he releases her memories so that she can remember everything..

Truman comes in and out of her life and leaves only to watch her from afar. He's desperatly in love with her by the time she's 22 when they finally make love.. he is her first...then he is heartbroken when he has to erase her memory of him yet again.. its only to protect her.

But he can't stay away.. he loves her too much, so he decides to be with her without releasing her memories and makes her fall in love with him all over again. They cannot get enough of each other..

This was some of the most incredibly sexy times I have ever read! These two were so freaking HOT!! Just crazy off the charts H-O-T.

Evil comes and forces Truman to erase her memories yet again when he never wanted too..and this time they may never come back... Truman has to protect Ember and try to help her remember their love for each other. Other vamps want to take Truman down and will hurt Ember to get what they want. Can he protect her and make her remember their love?

I was on the edge of my seat for the last 20% of this book.. I could not turn my Kindle pages fast enough! It had everything you want in a paranormal romance.. great back story and connection with the couple, scorching chemistry, suspense, true love, evil outside forces.. it had it all in spades.

Elizabeth Finn continues to wow me everytime.. Can't wait for the next book in this series.. Thanks Elizabeth for another great ride!

Hhhhmmmm, i have to admit i was a little bit torn on how to rate this one. All the books i've read by Elizabeth Finn up to this point i have LOVED and when i found out she had a PNR series in the works i was so excited because i absolutely adore PNRs. Unfortunately this one was just ok.

I loved the premise behind it...Truman (the vampire) saves Ember (a human) from a horrific situation as a young child and feels a bond towards her (nothing creepy, just a need to protect) so he ends up watching over her as she grows into adulthood. When there was action and suspense i loved it!!, when there were emotional parts (and there were some good ones!) i loved it!!...quite a few of the sex scenes were scorching (although there were almost too many)...but a lot of the book just dragged on a bit and i found myself bored at times, especially during the first half...the second half def. carried the majority of what i enjoyed about the book, the action/suspense and emotional parts.

Having said that, i WILL be reading the next book in this series. I like the world that was created here and i'm looking forward to what Elizabeth Finn has in store for the characters of future books, whom we were briefly introduced to in this one.

Well...I tried to like it...

I don’t think the book is that bad in general but it’s just not for me. I don’t like really long descriptions that go for pages....and pages. I just get bored. There were barely any conversations.

The story was promising at the beginning, I liked the characters and I was quite excited.

Truman is a vampire and after saving a girl for a certain death he just can’t stop looking after her. Years after...she is a young woman and he feels drawn to her and needs to have her. Unfortunately it is not safe for Ember to remember him and he erases her memories (few times). They have incredible chemistry and there are some seriously hot scenes. But few chapters in, the story just lacked any development. There are only sex scenes and LOOOONG descriptions. Perhaps it gets better after that but I just can’t continue reading.

Unforgiven is one of my favourite books so I will definitely check more books from Elizabeth Finn.

3.5 stars for me.

If we are going strictly from heat then I give it 4.5. It's hot. Raw and hot.

The plot gets 3 though. If there had been a little more withheld with their past I think it could have hit it out of the park for me.

I'll e interested to see where the series goes from here!

"I love you Ember. I want you to hear it now, and you deserve to hear it now. There's no reason to wait and say it once I've spent myself in your body. I love you as much when you're driving me mad as I do when we make love."

Winning a free book is always a good thing. Winning a free book that ends up landing itself on your FAVORITES list is even better! One of my GR groups gave this away just the other day and I had just finished my last book so I thought, "Perfect timing! Why not?"

Ember's childhood was anything but typical. She was abducted at the tender age of ten, chained to wall where a mad man had the most perverse of intentions in mind. Ember escaped with both her life and her innocence, but how? Fast forward seven years to a now timid seventeen year old Ember who had a little too much to drink at a party and being pawed by a classmate who may or may not register the meaning of the word 'no'. Again, she escapes. These near attacks stay fresh in her mind but her escape, the how, the who and the why escape her. Parts of her memory just aren't there and all it takes is a simple word muttered from his lips, 'Sleep'...

description

Truman will never forget the night he saved the young, innocent Ember from the clutches of a monster but for her own safety, he does everything in his power to make sure that she, herself does indeed forget him and his role in her escape. Detached from his clan, Truman walks in solitude and feeds only on the monsters of the world, the murders, rapists, pedophiles. His own tragic loss from centuries prior fuels his obsession to ensure Ember remains safe, always. He watches her from the shadows, steps in whenever he is needed and just like that, he removes himself from her memory each time. As Ember grows into a beautiful young woman, Truman finds his own feels shifting and somehow, along the way, he falls deeply in love with her. That being said, her safety always comes first and she simply doesn't belong in his world. Therefor, Truman cherishes what time he has with her. When Ember suffers a heartbreaking loss, Truman is there to comfort, reveal his true self, and give his heart and body, all to her and even though it all ends with his purr of 'Sleep', Truman knows he will never be able to let her go.

As Truman falls deeper and deeper in love with her, danger lurks in the shadows. His clan, especially leader Mason isn't happy with Truman being on his own and he sees Ember as a bargaining chip to make Truman bend at his will. When Truman fells his world closing on him and tragedy strikes once more, Truman makes dangerous decision that could cost both him and Ember their lives and at the very least, she could lose all memory of him forever. While that thought alone shatters his heart, again, it's her safety that matters more than anything. The question is, can the heart carry what the mind has since lost, and will Truman's heart survive the harsh reality of being her stranger once more?

Immortal Protector is the epitome of all things Paranormal Romance. What fascinated me most about this book was the role reversal. In this genre, it's typically the female lead pining away for the untouchable, broken hero waiting, desperately hoping that he will eventually see that they are meant to be. In some ways, it's hard to describe Truman. Aside from the tall lean build, brown hair and striking hazel eyes, he has the 'best of both worlds' thing going for him. He is all alpha, no doubt but at the same time, well, lets just say, I told a friend, 'He's such a girl, but not in that ugh grow a pair already!, kind of way.' Clear as mud? OK, let me try again lol. There is absolutely no reason to doubt his masculinity. He is dangerous, intimidating and pure Dominant in the bedroom but his heart is sensitive and open and he loves so hard, so completely and it takes a REAL MAN to fall to his knees, sobbing and begging for what matters most to him in the entire world.

I could go on and on about this book but instead, I encourage everyone to to dive into the wold Ms. Finn has created. This is pure, raw, paranormal romance/urban fantasy with alpha vampires, delicious kink elements, action, suspense and a beautiful love story that will mark your soul. I hope you enjoy Ember and Truman's dance as much as I did. After all, they are just ' so fucking good at this .' *wink*

This is one hot book! Wow! I joked with my friend about this book I felt like I was reading Twilight Porn! It is definitely not a YA novel.

Elizabeth Finn is one of my favorite authors and I was really excited to read her paranormal romance novel Immortal Protector (The Immortals #1). I love a good vampire story and Ms. Finn delivered!

Immortal Protector is an interesting story. I loved how different it was considering there are so many vampire books out there. It felt completely new to me and I really enjoyed the story of Truman and Ember and their romance over a number of years.

Ember first meets Truman when she is 10 years-old after Truman saved her from a child predator that had kidnapped her. Truman is a vampire who feeds off child abusers but once he saves young Ember he feels the need to protect her for the rest of her life. He watches her from afar to protect her without her ever knowing. He saves her again at 17, then 20 when her mother dies but this time their romance begins. Truman must erase her memory each time she sees him because she cannot know about him and their history. Now Ember is 22 and Truman cannot stay away, he loves her too much and they begin to have a summer time affair but Truman’s bloodline (his Vampire family) wants him away from Ember and focus on his family’s obligations. He must protect Ember from his family even if that means he can no longer be with the women he loves.

I absolutely loved the first half of the book. I loved the unique relationship between Truman and Ember and how they came to know each other. Truman was a bit of a stalker but he loved Ember so much and had a connection to her like he has never had on anyone before. I also found Truman to be incredibly sexy, I’ve never been a fan of vampire boys but Truman is one hell of a vampire man!

Ember and Truman have the hottest sex I have ever read in a book! Wow!! I was seriously blushing while reading their love scenes. The majority of the book is sex, I do wish there was more of a story because it seemed like the love scenes took over the book. I enjoyed the story a lot and just wanted more.

The second half is really good as well; it focuses more on the drama between the vampires and the bloodlines. I did enjoy it as well but I really loved getting to know Ember & Truman in the first half of the book. I couldn’t put the book down, maybe because it was the scenes were so hot, or because I enjoyed the story, or maybe it was because Truman turned me on so much but I just couldn’t stop reading. Immortal Protector is a great ADULT, EROTIC Paranormal Romance novel.

I give Immortal Protector (The Immortals #1) 4 Stars.

THE IMMORTALS BOOK 1

Ember and Truman first meet when she's ten and he saves her from a monster intent on killing her. Of course she doesn't remember because Truman who is a three hundred year old vampire wipes her memory of his part in saving her.

Truman over the next ten years pops in and out of Ember's life. Each time he does he allows Ember to remember their past together, but he always clears her memory of him each time he leaves her. When Ember is twenty things change between them, they become much closer physically and emotionally. When Ember is attacked by another vampire intent on revenge against Truman. He is devastated when he tries to restore her memory of him, he fails. The result is that Ember mistrusts him and holds Truman responsible for the major gaps in her memory.

I have read all of this authors books so far, and enjoyed each one. This book is the authors first venture into paranormal romance. I think she did a really good job. What was really good was the characters who are were brilliantly portrayed. Truman and Ember's relationship was not only hot and passionate, but believeable on an emotional level as well. I really felt and got the connection between them. This is an exciting read full of action, drama and romance. I look forward to the next book in the series. Each book is a complete story.

4.5 Stars and only because I wanted more........

This was a great blend of the best of both Twilight and Mortal Instruments, but elevated out of the YA market and into the hands of adult females. You are first introduced to Ember when she is only 10 years old and she faces a Monster ready to kill her. Truman happened to be following this Monster and from the moment he meets Ember he knows she is special. She isn't scared of Truman as she is with any other male and allows herself experience his presence however removed it is on her life. They meet again several times and each time for her safety Truman must bury her memories of him. Can you imagine being able to fall in love with the same person time and time again and each time it being stronger than the first. The story takes an unexpected twist when she can no longer remember him being a part of her life. Truman being the amazing male character he is doesn't give up on them and it is so worth it in the end as finding your true love is an amazing journey. I am really excited to see how this series unfolds as well as getting more glimpses into the life of Truman and Ember!!

I'll be the first one to say that I pretty much detest reviews that start of with; "If you like (insert book title) then you'll like (insert book title)", however I cannot avoid it.

This book reminded me so much of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, albeit a shorter version and there are several fundamental differences, but the one most important similarity: the chemistry between the two main characters is off-the-charts-HOTT!!

The only minor thing that I didn't like was Ember's attitude when she felt her life went to $h1t (not putting in spoilers to point out when) and yes it was a big part of the plot, so it definitely wasn't an issue with the author, who quite effectively made me want to scream at Ember for acting like my hormonal teenager.

"What if I can never remember us?" She broke the silence and stilled him.
"Then I guess we'll have to fall in love all over again."
"How can you be so sure that's possible?"
"Because we're so fucking good at it."

All I can say is that if I am ever a widow, I sure as hell hope that my next lover is a vampire, because damn, between JR Ward and now Elizabeth Finn, they sure are a big part of my ultimate fantasy... sigh~ a girl can dream, right?

"It...has...only...ever...been...you...Ember."

Well, hello, Immortal Protector ! Oh, boy DID I ENJOY THIS BOOK. Wowza. It's extremely sensual and romantic. Ice. You might need ice.

I'm so in love with Truman. He's not only a crazy hot vampire, he's also an incredibly sweet and caring man...and loving. Lots and lots of lovin'.

After rescuing ten-year-old Ember, he takes it upon himself to watch over her throughout her life. He's there for her whenever she needs him. Only problem is there are rules. STUPID RULES. Ember isn't allowed to know about what he is, so he has to hide her memories of him every time.

Truman loves Ember deeply. His protectiveness is palpable. He will do anything to keep her safe. I swooned so hard, you guys.

Ember meets that beautiful man over and over for the first time. Obviously she gets the better end of the deal because who wouldn't want to relive the first time with that man on repeat? I mean, hello.
"What if I can never remember us?"
"Then I guess we'll have to fall in love all over again."
"How can you be so sure that's possible?"
"Because we're so fucking good at it."
And that they are.

When he takes her on their history tour I totally melted. He is just too amazing.

Elizabeth Finn does it again. I really like this book. It's crazy good and suspenseful, l and I think you should read it.

Let me just say that I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Elizabeth Finn and her spectactular work so far! She writes erotic sex scenes like no other and that wasn't any different in this book. In past books( Restoring Jordan, Brother's Keeper, The Devil's Pawn ), I was blown away with her ability to make me feel every nuance of emotion from the characters and empathize with them on a level not often matched by other books in that genre.

With that said, I liked it. I didn't love it**sniff, sniff**
The sex scenes were as expected, scorching and if required for me to repeat what was said or done, I'd blush. Oh! Who am I kidding?! I'd blush and repeat them with the hope that Truman would do the same things to me!

But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but...there was too much sex. Yes, that just came out of my mouth onto this page and I'm still shocked while writing this! I did like Truman and thought he was seductive and sexy. He was a vampire of the best kind.

But as a whole, it was a good story, just not my favorite when it comes to this author. Love you Mz. Finn!

Elizabeth Finn puts her own personal spin on the paranormal with her erotic new vampire series, The Immortals. Ingredients include a hot, domineering man; a shy, inexperienced girl; a bad guy; and her signature ingredient: hot, erotic bedroom scenes that leave you drooling.

Truman has been protecting Ember her entire life. In order to keep her safe, he has to wipe her brain of her memories after each encounter – but the feeling of safety, desire, and trust when she's around him remain even if her memories do not. After more than a decade of keeping his distance, Truman decides he'd rather meet her as a human and get to spend quality time together than return her memories only to have to wipe them again a day later. They spend a summer getting to know each other the traditional way and fall passionately in love with each other.

After a summer of watching Truman become even more consumed by his human than ever before, a vampire ruler decides enough is enough. He wants Truman to take his rightful place in the family and is willing to kill Ember to guarantee it gets done. When Ember permanently loses every memory she ever had of Truman, he has to figure out how to convince a woman who is terrified and bitter that she once loved him and could love him again, all while trying to keep the vampire community satisfied in the process.

Elizabeth Finn is an author I faithfully follow – if she wrote it, I want to read it! And while vampires are usually a surefire way to get me invested in a story, I felt like this one didn't pack quite the addictive punch that I've come to associate with anything Elizabeth Finn has written. It was almost like it had the formula I expected, but not the depth and feeling. That's not to say it wasn't good, it most definitely was; it just wasn't the same level of excellence as some of her other works (The Devil's Pawn, Restoring Jordan).

I would still recommend this to anyone who enjoys passionate love, hot sex, vampires, or all of the above – and from hints given at the end as to what is in store for book #2, it looks like the entire series will be delectable.

I had high hopes for this seeing as I'm riding the vampire train after reading JR Ward's BDB series, but sadly this was such a disappointment I couldn't finish it.

1. It feels rush and lacks the descriptive aspect to fully envision the character, places, emotions, history, desires, etc. there wasn't any anticipation or build to their relationship, felt me as the reader was just dropped into a rushed course of their relationship.

2. The author lacks development of the characters to prove that this is in fact a "forever love" . Their first interaction is when he saves her and he only says one line to her. Their second time is when he rescues her again, to which he brings her home and he answers a handful of questions about himself, before she passes out. Their third time is at her mom's funeral to which she faints after seeing him, he brings her to his place and declares he's gonna make love to her! (As the reader I'm quite puzzled how he states to treating her as he would his sister yet a few lines later can't wait to get inside of her "sweet tight pussy") then after he takes her virginity that night he erases her memory of it (selfish!!)

3. He fully engages a relationship with her, knowing that it will only be disastrous for her the more she is exposed to what he is.

4. The book was scripted as a porn script. I felt he was vulgar, raunch and rough with her, dropping her off the deep end of his lust for her to please his sexual desires of wanting to see her pleasure herself after buying her a glass phallic toy, tying her up, anal play....

I tried but there was little emotional foundation for the characters to declare a "forever love" and more just selfish lust-driven sex sessions. I tried to finish but only got to page 108.

Five sexy hot vampy stars

What can I say about this book but wow, it blew me away. It was emotional, so damn sexy I had to stop reading for a while to chill!!!! It has action, danger, love, lust, angst, heart ache, pain and of course I'm not telling you in which order they happen.

Truman is a vampire, yes a vampire, I love vampires and Truman is a more traditional type of vamp he drinks from humans and kills them....not to worry though he only hunts the scum of the earth, that is how he meets ember a ten year old girl kidnapped by a paedo - he saves her life and hides her memory of him.

He becomes attached to ember in a way he does not understand and is around to keep an eye on her as she grows - not in a pervy way, just to keep her safe - but as she grows up she changes and so do feelings. When he comes into her life from time to time he has to keep hiding her memories of him. The story is amazing it kept me on my toes not knowing how it would turn out with so many events happening.

The characters I loved them, i fell for Truman early in the book, and ember was an amazing female characther, my god she made me wait at one point in the book for sooooo long it was painful but so realistic which I loved (oops used word loved again!!)

So apart from good characthers, great writing, vampire hotness, amazing storyline, very sexy descriptive hot lusty sex scenes, and gory bloody moments, basically this is a great read if your a paranormal romance fan and like them hot!!! Even if its not your normal choice of book give it a try.

Unfortunately this book was not so great for me. I really liked EF's other books that I have read but with this book I felt a disconnect to the characters. I thought the premise was good. Actually the premise was very good and as I read the beginning of the book I had high hopes. The problem for me is that there isn't enough interaction between the the H and h so I never felt/understood their undying love for one another. I thought that the H came across as vulgar simply because I felt that I didn't know him nor did the h really know him.

There is a lot of internal dialogue in the beginning of this book but even all of that didn't help me connect to the H and h. I didn't feel that these monologues added enough insight and depth. The H and h, especially the h, rarely have interactions with others so I was amazed to find that all of these other characters loved the h. How? When? I wish that we had seen the development of their affection for her. To be truthful, when the H first admits to himself that he loves the h I was surprised because I didn't feel a bond between them.

The second half of the book did pick up and I definitely thought that it was better than the first half. I felt their connection more and the H didn't come across as creepy as he did towards the beginning.

I shelved this under effin vampires. Why? Because I Do. Not. Like. Vampires. Why? Blame Stephenie Meyer and JR Ward for that one. What I do like, however, is Elizabeth Finn. Brother's Keeper is one of my all-time favorites. True to form, Truman (sorry, Liz, but I do not like that name--at all) is an alpha male hottie with some serious knowledge of the female body. That totally rhymed.....

There's a lot going on in this book. Attempted sexual assaults, beatings, stabbings, shootings, attacks by rogue vampires.....but there's some seriously, SERIOUSLY hot sex to balance it all out. Truman is also a man in love--passionate, sweet, head over heels true love. From almost the very beginning. Y'all know I am a sucker for a man in love.....

I don't think I am quite ready to revisit my position on vampires, but I will most definitely be reading the next book.

I always said we were good at falling in love.

This was different than most of my vampire novels....Truman adored Ember since he met her when she was a little girl. He watched over her as she grew from afar and only intervened when she was in danger. He protected her agains the laws of his kind. Ember was a hardworking girl that was left alone in this world and then she meets Truman. Their love was deep but fate had other plans for them and it was frustrating at times to watch them go through so many hardships. It all ends well for both.

I loved it! It was a little slow but good, it is a romantic story line with the vampire thing, but is mostly romantic. I really enjoyed.

I have been a fan of Elizabeth Finn since I devoured Brother’s Keeper, Restoring Jordan, and Devil’s Pawn. She is absolutely a wonderful writer and I was pumped to get my hands on Immortal Protector. To me, this book goes along with her other three books that I have read, a little on the dark side. However, it was a completely different than what I was expecting. It may have been a little too dark for me and it took me a while to get into the story and the characters but right around 50% of the book, it started heating up. I guess I just love some drama. ☺

Spoiler alert:
My favorite part was Ember couldn’t remember Truman after her turn and that unfamiliarity made her less willing to give into Truman’s charm. She fights with him for the first time and that internal struggle of needing him for her livelihood but hating him intrigued me.

The little snippet about Angus in the second book sounds good.

10 year old Ember is kidnapped and held hostage by paedophile who intends to have his fun before he kills her. Just as he begins his attempt at raping Ember he is ripped off her by someone in the shadows. 300 year old Truman is a vampire who only takes is food from those who are evil never the innocent. When he finally tracked down a predator that he has been chasing he didn't count on finding 10 year old Ember in his clutches, as he hears Embers cries he rips the predator off her and kills him.
After making sure Ember is ok he wipes her memory of him. Truman decides to stay in the background of Embers life being her protector, as she grows he falls more in love with her.
This is another wonderful story from Elizabeth Finn that I absolutely loved. I am looking forward to reading immortal distraction and immortal healer as Angus and Quinten are also mentioned in this book. Love your work Elizabeth

akhirnya bisa baca ebooknya....
what a great story...

Ceritanya sukses buat aq melek sampe jam 5 subuh ggrrrrhhh...
Truman solomon is a vampire... Dia menyelamatkan Ember yg berumur 10thn dari penculik.... Dan truman selalu protect her.

masalahnya setiap mereka dekatan... Truman harus menghilangkan ingatan Ember... Sampe Ember umur 20 thn dan they make love for the first time... Sama kayak sebelumnya, Truman harus menghapus ingatan Ember meskipun gak rela...

2 tahun mereka pisah... Walaupun cm Truman yg ngerasa... Saat Ember berumur 22 thn, si Truman gak tahan lagi... He love her and he fighting for her... I love the way he treats Ember...

Mulai dari sini ceritanya jadi menarik... Rada mendebarkan juga...

love scene cetarrr membahana kayak buku elizabeth finn yg lain...

So 4,5 bintang

I'm afraid I wasn't impressed with this book! I don't know if it was the fact that I've read a few vampire books and none of them seem to come anywhere close to JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Either way I found myself struggling to read this book, to the point where I was considering giving up altogether. It contradicted itself, one example being apparently there are very few ways to kill a vampire, but it seems that the vampires that were killed, it didn't take much. And I'm not actually sure if the vampires can go out in daylight. It may have been mentioned but I found myself switching off one too many times. It's such a shame because I've enjoyed the other couple of books by this author. Anyway I won't be continuing with this series but I'm hopeful for some of the authors other books.
