Yes, reader she married him, and they continued traveling the world. Four children, two Labradors and three cats later, Katherine put down roots in the south. This was a quick read. I thought it was okay. I liked the premise well enough: A female jeweler flies to a small Italian island to sell a necklace to a prince, and it turns out that the necklace is a replica of a piece stolen from his family years before. The thing that bothered me about this book though was the fact that the prince tricks the woman into an engagement, kidnaps her, and continually manipulates and uses her. What makes it worse is that the woman only seems to half heartedly complain and then easily gives in to his demands every time he kisses her. In the end they end up falling in love after knowing each other for only about a day or two (most of that time the prince is forcing her to play a role against her will). I realize that this is a work of fiction and the author is entitled to creative license, but it just seemed too unrealistic for me.

This was a fantastic book!! I usually read regency books but had a few people recommend this to me and I was not disappointed. This is a fairy tale book even though Carolina fought it most of the way:). Most of us would be happy to have a prince even though he originally had some alterior motives. I love how with both of them having strong personalities they finally find peace and love with one another. The only thing that would have been nice would have been to find out what really happened to the jewels but that's maybe for another day:)
I won this book on Goodreads. This book was not exactly what I typically would read but it was light and the descriptive writing was good. The book came in a wonderful box filled with little give aways and treats. It was a fun package to receive!
Katherine Bone's contemporary romance is a delightful read! Loved every page! Recommended it for my Adult Book Club list, and we will be discussing it this month! Can't wait!
Lost Treasure, Captive Princess is a quick light read and well written. Although the prince came off as a jerk in most of the book, he did redeem himself.
