I'm English by birth, from the Isle of Wight, living in Newport, spending part of the year in the USA, co-managing The Carter Seagrove Project LLC - an independent publishing house, incorporated in the State of Indiana.

I was 51 years old in 2016. I only started writing in 2009, proving, I suppose, that it is never too late. I didn't think about publishing until late 2012, now, nearly four years later, I'm even more energized by the process than ever before.

I'm a qualified English teacher, specializing in teaching English as a second language (TEFL), though I don't do much of that now. In the distant past, I taught software skills. In the very distant past, I was a project manager on big IT projects and at the very beginning of my career, I was an Internal Auditor. I have degrees in Internal Auditing, Computer Auditing and Project Management. I'm studying for my degree in Sustainable Development at the moment. Renewable energy is what really interests me.

I'm a member of The Society of Authors, The Society for Editors and Proofreaders and The Independent Author Network.

I have no great philosophy except "energy follows intention" and "honour your gifts". These two principles keep me sane, very happy and exceedingly busy!

I downloaded quite a few of free books from this author, but I haven’t got a chance to read one until now. This is a cute little story, but I can’t say that I enjoyed it. I can’t get into the writing style, which utilizes simple, unpolished sentences divided by semicolons instead of commas and periods. Imagine whole paragraphs comprises of short sentences, all separated by semicolons. It’s very distracting for me to enjoy the text.

I guess the author is trying to create a fable by making use of this writing style. The plot itself is also very simple. I myself don’t care for an adult story that is as simple as a kid’s tale. So, sorry, this book is not for me.

When I first started this short story I was pretty sure it was little more then erotica, albeit eloquently written erotica.
But as the book moved forward the plot revealed itself of one of two town men falling in love and taking a stand for their rights to that love within the village that they live.
While this story is short and the plot is simple, I feel that this author has created a great, stirring, modern, erotic fairy tale.
I recommend this short story to readers of MM Romance Erotica.

I really liked this novelette. I thought the author did an excellent job of world building an alternate universe that was at once futuristic and a throw/back to the past. The main characters were likable and the conflict, while simple, was realistically and satisfactorily resolved. A surprisingly sweet m/m erotic romance.

I really enjoyed the story-line of this book, and thought the storyline was sweet and the characters believable.
However, the premise threw me off a little; at first, I assumed it was a historical fiction book, but several times I thought some of the technologies mentioned were more futuristic. I found this lack of clarity threw my attention from the plot several times.
Also, I found there were a few editing and formatting issues, which interrupted the flow of the book.
However, for a quick, half-hour read this isn't a bad book.

Impressive, although I think it could have been even better and more interesting if it was a tad longer. Both MC's were good, the plot wasn't too complicated and the resolution was nice. Yeah, not a bad story.
