This is a very simple first look at the world around us. It gives a broad overview of each continent, it's geographic features, animal life, culture etc. It's full of beautiful pictures from National Geographic. It looks like they made a wonderful book about the world for children and when it was all finished they sprinkled some angry bird characters over the top to get the kids' attention. It worked! It's really a fantastic book.
I wasn't impressed. The only redeeming part of the book was the suggestions in the back for activities and even then it felt a bit out of place. I'd have preferred more attention to detail in the maps.
