Are You Trying to Live a Supernatural Life Without God's Help?God asks you to walk in a way that reflects Him. But are you trying to live this supernatural life without His help?We were created to live so God could demonstrate His power through us. However, many of us turn to our own limited resources when dealing with people and situations. In this fourth study in Ephesians, T.D. Jakes challenges you to answer the following:When God calls you to do something that seems humanly impossible. What is the purpose of "thorns" in your life...and what if God chooses not to remove them? How do you successfully break old, sinful habits and replace them with godly attitudes, behaviors, and reactions? When you rely on the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to walk out each day, you will experience a life that's "exceeding abundantly" above all you could ask or think. And once you've tasted this overflowing life, you'll never want to turn back!

Breaks down book of Ephesians and give practical applications. I liked chapter on marriage it was more so focusing on the church and Christ instead of husband and wife. Take away message- stop worrying about your condition and start focusing on your position
I got this book as a gift from my mother and while I believe most everything he writes here and I really wanted to like it, I just didn't. I found the writing style wordy and not engaging.
I am enjoying this series on Ephesians, as we are in a sermon series at church and I am hungry for all the insight I can get of this wonderful epistle! Edifying and encouraging.
This book prompted me to buy the singles of each book in this book. There are 6 Pillars of Ephesians and each of those books reference this book. These are great books for meditation and study; highly recommend for people who are looking to work on and improve themselves (not for those looking to bash other people over the head with the Word).
Really good book. I didn't know going into it that it was a conversational commentary of the book of Ephesians. A lot of practical advice and illustrations brought out the depth of knowledge and wisdom of the heart of the apostle Paul in this book.
This is the first time I have read anything from T.D. Jakes and I really enjoyed this book. I will keep it on my Kindle and re-read it again because it was that good.
