Rory Parker does an amazing job writing this book, explaining the nuances of freelance writing.
Writing is an art, which one has to hone through sheer habit of reading books, blogs, articles etc. She explicitly states that writing doesn't need to be precise in terms of vocabulary and grammar, but sufficient enough for an 8th Grader, but mustn't contain gibberish.
Rory highlights specific skills one needs to have before starting out, and if one doesn't- she's got a solution for that too (which I find missing in most blogs which are meant to get one started blogging).
Overall, this 128 Page book is the exact thing I have been looking for a long time and I am glad that I read this book in one sitting, which most authors in this area aren't able to achieve (get readers glued to the whole article at one go).
PS: This is my first ever book review. So please excuse any typos or grammatical/ vocabulary related mistakes. If you point out, I'd be more than happy to edit it and give a shout-out to you (if possible).

Just okay. Short and to the point, which I like. I gained a few ideas I wasn't aware of but most of this information is either common sense or you learn as you're writing for a living. This book is mainly about freelance writing as a full-time job and I would have liked to read more about book writing. But maybe that's a different book.

I didn't know how much I didn't know until I read this ebook!
Preparing to retire from a corporate career, I am seeking a platform and an income stream. Rory Parker laid the basics out in and easy to read flow. The clarity and structure made sense immediately. I now know I can do this. More important, I now can make a plan.

This book is good for newbie about being a writer. Simple and good sentences for us to understand.

This is an easy read, taking me less than 20 minutes to complete. The information is basic and not really worth the money. The book offers little and seems like just another quick revenue stream for this particular writer. One of the downsides to the e-book trend is the number of these books on the market, making it difficult to distinguish between good content and fluff. This is fluff.

Rory touches upon discipline (totally necessary for deadlines) and working out just how much time DO YOU really have to dedicate to writing. She talks about getting clients too which wasn't something I was interested in, but you may be. Marketing is also mentioned, another necessary "to do" in today's world of DIY book publishing.

This is a book about how to start as an online writer and very positive to me as I have planned to write my voice online ! Some suggestions sound to real but some are still alien to me , a person who lives in a country where English is not first language and with limited Internet access ! But thank you your all tips !
