Kirsty and Rachel have to get three magical objects: a scarf, a magical pumpkin, and a magical ruby red leaf. It made me feel excited! I read the book in one night! When I was sick.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

This is one book split into three stories--one for each of the objects that Rachel and Kirsty have to find. It reminded me a lot of Stella the Star Fairy (a Christmas-themed special edition), as it also centers around three objects with solutions that are a bit simpler than in the shorter books. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's probably necessary to maintain the pace while keeping the book at a reasonable length. I still enjoyed the solutions. The goblins had some good moments, and Jack Frost was great in his typical semi-villainous role, even if he did act a bit out of character in this one.

As is typical with the series, it’s repetitive and incredibly formulaic. The vocabulary does not vary but at least the story is complete, instead of in three separate volumes.

It’s cute. A young girl (about 4-6 years old) would probably enjoy it. Good book to read for Fall.

Rachel and Kirsty have a special secret. They can see and talk to fairies! Jack Frost is always meddling in the fairies' business, and stealing things that don't belong to him. This time, pesky Jack Frost has stolen Autumn's three magical items that make fall so exciting! Her magic scarf, which makes the fall breezes, her pumpkin, which helps the harvest, and finally, a leaf that makes all of the tree's leaves fall. Can Rachel, Autumn, and Kirsty get back the three magical items and save the season? Find out in this spectacular special edition chapter book! I loved these Rainbow Magic books so much, and you will definitely see more of them on my Instagram page. I remember that I read this book when I was around eight and was so proud of myself. I couldn't believe that I had read a book this long! (Now I read books with nine hundred pages, but still, for an eight-year-old that was great! 🤣) I love the black-and-white illustrations - they make Jack Frost's goblins look so foolish all the time! I was really sensitive when I was younger and didn't want to read these books at first because my friends told me they had goblins in them. After a while of fighting with myself about reading the books or not, I finally decided to try one and loved it! The goblins weren't scary at all - in fact, they were kind of funny! This is a great book for ages 7 - 10! Thank you for reading! Follow @bronteandwilder on Instagram for more fun book recommendations!
