This is a rather heavy book for a series romance. So much angst that I had to put it down for a month or so because it was just a little too intense for me at the time.
Jacqueline is a renowned photographer from a famous political family, which has caused her to be very closed off and self-reliant. She's had a long-term relationship with Raymond, a journalist, who has been content to keep things exclusive but light. But then she receives some health news that makes her draw into herself even more.
I found it hard to keep being sympathetic to Jacqueline because she was extremely ruthless and unilateral in her decision making. While it was understandable, it also felt exhausting. Raymond got less POV time, but I found him more relatable.

Great job, just when I thought I couldn’t be blown away! I never thought Aunt J had a story but I knew she was sick after Desiree got married and Dominique saw her coming out of the medical building. Lesson learned “ never walk away from someone you care about and assume the worst. Try to hear that person out. There’s always two sides to each story. Life is too short don’t whole unnecessary stuff in, it can break a family. Remember love (true love) the kind that God speaks of in the Bible is unconditional.

Exceptional writing✍🏾
This book of the series is more than one of romance, it brings love of family! The author had me thinking that this would b a woman fighting for independence. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not a women's empowerment. I learned that family does not fail even after 10 years. I do not know whom was more stubborn of the characters, Jacqueline or Raymond. Loved the story, insightful and informative.

What a lovely book! It was everything you expected it to be. I learned that sometimes you have to soften up and put your pride aside to tackle the obstacle courses in life. Great job once again Mrs. Hill!

This book showed my no matter what never shut family out . at the end of the day. Family is important . Jacqueline found out that her family never stop loving and caring about her. Ray Loved her though it all .

I loved the story of Jacqueline and Raymond. It proves it's not good to hold grudges against family because in the end, family is all we have. Of course when you have someone special who loves you that's a bonus. Highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book. I liked that it wasn't a typical "boy meets girl" romance but a couple thats already together and they must decided if they are in it for the long haul.

From the moment I begin reading this book I was unable to put down. Jacqueline Lawson the youngest and from the time she was small she felt like she was alone although she had two older brothers. Jacqueline has always being independent, free sprite person who never felt she needed anybody. Life has a way of making us think and see thing differently when circumstance happen.
Raymond Jordan a freelance photographer who has been with Jacqueline through some of the most dangerous assignment and now when he is ready to open up his heart and let the woman know that he loves her something happen.
Jacqueline has this secret that she has been keeping from Raymond and the best way she felt she could deal with it was to leave him and boy does she. When Raymond returns and finds out that Jacqueline has left and he is angry and hurt.
Ms. Hill in Everything is you take us on a journey of forgiveness, trust and unconditional love. Jacqueline learns that everybody needs somebody even when they have convinced themselves that they don't. Secrets and the truth has to come out in order for this family to reconcile, Ms. Hill took us to Baton Rouge and re-visit with the other characters that we love and can't wait to read about them.

OMG!
Girl, you really know how to break a sister down. There were so many familial touching, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and eye opening moments. This family's love relationships takes the reader to the highest heights and the deepest depths. I found myself: smiling, laughing, shedding silent tears, and reduced to gut wrenching sobs, where I actually had to stop reading, and Just. Give. In. I am so glad that I started reading this series. BRAVO! WELL DONE! KUDOS!

Why let the past hold your future captivate? That is the lesson for Jacqueline. As all the hard feelings that kept her from her family almost cost her the love of her life and her actual life literally. Raymond being who he is was just what the strong independent Jacqueline needed. Once loved over ruled stubbornness you see that all things work out for the good.

Fearless
Jacquie's spirit and can-do attitude is inspiring to me. I am happy she got her chance at love with Ray even if she fought it for some time.
