Follows the story of Bob Erler, a once dedicated Green Beret officer who brutally killed several people and pleaded with police to stop him before he was captured, and who escaped from prison before he was caught a second time. Reprint.
I tried to read this but couldn't make it past the first two chapters. There was one paragraph which indicated that a criminal justice professional worked by himself out of a small office. On the very next page, the same man suddenly had a secretary that he loved to gossip with. The author also inserted himself inexplicably into the text without bothering to explain his role or even just state that he was in the room. It was very confusing.
