David Ritter and Reverend Rachel Quinn are on a mission to save their dear friend, Sarah Pearson, from the forces of evil. Their information leads them to the long-abandoned Hillside Hotel.
Imprisoned within the crumbling walls of the hotel, Sarah must hold out against chilling spectres and a demonic presence that feeds on fear. If she succumbs to them, the prophecy will be fulfilled.
The end of days.
At the same time, David and Rachel are plunged headfirst into a maze of lost souls and timeless horrors. Their determination is tested as they grapple with spectral inhabitants who will stop at nothing to add them to their eternal guest list.
Hotel is an atmospheric tour-de-force that masterfully blends spine-chilling terror, haunting mystery, and relentless suspense.
Of course, other genres float my boat as well; Sci-Fi, Thrillers, pretty much any Dark Fiction, but Horror is what I call home.
My first novel, Horror in the Woods, was released on in May 2017, and the second, The Demonic, on the the following July hitting multiple best seller lists. Since then, I have authored a number of horror novels that have terrified fans for the past few years.

After being kidnapped, Sarah is taken prisoner at the Hillside Hotel, a place that looks like it hasn't been used for decades, but which over time has gained a reputation as one of the most haunted places in America.
The events date back to 1886, the year it was built, when several workers died under mysterious circumstances. After that, several guests reported strange events, including the death of a couple and the disappearance of their son. The hotel was later turned into a hospital for cancer patients, but the doctor was more interested in conducting unethical experiments than actually providing any kind of effective treatment... The tragedies led to bad press, and with it the place was left abandoned. At least on our plane of reality.
Throughout the Haunted series we have come to realize that whenever a place has a bad reputation and a record of too many macabre occurrences, it means that there is probably one of the seven gates to Hell somewhere. And that is precisely why Sarah has been taken there, because "When the seven gates are opened and the daughter of darkness has surrendered, our world and Hell will merge".
The aim of the group that kidnapped Sarah, and those behind it, is simple: to get her to give in and surrender to the darkness, because only then will they be able to carry out their plan to unite our world and the dark one. But David and the rest of the team are sent to attempt a rescue and, perhaps, prevent the destruction of the world.
Once again, this is a real page-turner, where the conspiracies going on behind the scenes and involving elements of the church come to the fore.
David Ritter is on a mission to find and rescue Sarah before all hell breaks loose. Malevolent spirits hamper their efforts. Is it a lost endeavour? This page turner was chilling to the extreme. I like the cast of characters and the eerie portrayal of the hotel and its long dead inhabitants. Can't wait to read the next one
I feel like this book, was EXACTLY like book #6. I felt like it followed the same principles and if you didn't read this, out of the series, you wouldn't miss much. I feel they should have left this book out.
