Sandra Felton's The Messies Superguide builds on her two previous books, The Messies Manual and Messies 2, to encourage people, mainly women who have problems organizing, discover what they can do to clean up their homes and lives. Because it was written in the 1980's, the book is slightly dated, but the principles for organization are still timely. Felton promotes the "Mt. Vernon Method fo organizing and cleaning. She includes a list of books about the brain and cleaning. Humorous illustrations brighten the reading time. Home decorator Rebecca Emerick has provided a couple of chapters about how to decorate your home once you've completed the organizing.
