Rachel's relationship is faltering. The affection John once showed has been replaced by a sexual desire, a need to push the limits for bigger and more erotic thrills. Though Rachel doesn't always object, she also benefits from his wild imagination, she misses his tenderness and sensuality, that passion they used to share. When Rachel is asked to work onsite for a fortnight, is it any surprise that she becomes infatuated by a stranger she meets in the hotel's bar? Can Rachel resist the temptation and stay faithful to John, or will she succumb, and cast a shadow over their future together?
Sensual and moving, this third installment in the 'A Woman's Lust' series delves deeper into Rachel's persona. Join Rachel on her journey and discover which path she takes in this 224 page (56,000 word) novel from British writer, CS Morgan.
Please note that due to sexual content that some readers may find offensive, this book is intended for mature audiences only.
CS Morgan has reached the top #50 in both the Amazon and iTunes Erotica charts with 'A Woman's Lust', a series of erotic novels for women, following the fictional adventures of British couple Rachel and John. The fourth novel, a flashback to Rachel's university days, is due to be released in the spring of 2013.
CS Morgan is currently developing a new series of novels, 'A Woman's Love'. These will fall into the romance category but will still be as sizzling as the other books!
I didn't read the series from the beginning, starting with Rachel and John's story in Holiday. But what I understood is that the entire series is based upon what a woman would do for the man she loves. This last volume is about the realization of a woman who must face the "after I did everything for the man I love, what can I do to have a "normal" relationship?". I don't know if that was the author's goal but it's what I felt while reading the book. Rachel is not sure anymore that John loves her as much as she loves him. And finds everything to explain why he could not be the man of her life. LOL I liked a lot this aspect of the book because each woman in a relationship has the same questions. Plus, I loved the fact that Rachel never cheats on John even if she is very tempted. :)
Other positive points: the author knows how to keep a reader's attention and there was some humour, too. Thanks C.S. for that. :)
However, the end was too much expected. I mean that I saw it coming but I expected that that will not be the case. Because what I like in a romance book is that the heroes (the ones that I follow from the start) have a HEA together... except in one case that I won't mention here.
So for me, even if the book ends with a HEA, I didn't like very much what the author did with her original characters.
Despite that, I find that C.S. has a good writing and once I started the book, I couldn't put it down until the end. For that reason, I add another star to my original notation. :)
Really enjoyed this book although it was short. I easily attached to Rachel and so many times wanted to jump into the story and beat the crap out of ****(can't say without spoiler). I had such heated emotions toward one of the characters in this story that I seriously wished a swarm of fire ants would descend upon her bare ass. The story is to short to have a layered story line and I wanted something more to happen with the partners after the company takeover. This was my first read of this series and I sort of wish I had read them in order only because Rachel and John make references to "other things" that have happened i their relationship and I felt a little in the dark in that regard. The writing style is easy to follow, definitely hooks you and humor to boot. Look forward reading more from this author
