I picked this novella up at a zine library in Cambridge, MA because the hand-bound book with a gorgeous cover was absolutely irresistible. Diving into the text, I was pleased to find that the work itself was as provoking as the physical presentation of the text. The story of Cassandra and Aurelia makes the reader feel as though he or she is drowning in a subconscious sea of swirling images and emotionally charged experiences. I am an instant fan of this writer's poetic prose.
