Sebastian and the bugs had the only good story arc in this whole thing. Overall I felt the whole thing was rather meh. It doesn't add anything to the overall story of the 'season' that's going on in the main titles. One could read all of Season 9 and Angel & Faith, miss this out and yet not miss anything from the over all story.
That was a satisfying ending to the arch, but I am not satisfied to be done with Spike. I want more. Even though I am picking up WAY after having last seen him. It amuses me that the giant bugs are now taking over Easter Island. Haha. This universe tickles me ... and now that we're outside of the show, they can really do anything.
I wonder if the end of this comic means that he is joining "Angel and Faith" ... another series that I want to get into ... though, I think I might wait for the trade paperbacks and such. Keeping up every month is exhausting. Haha.
This was a great ending to this mini series. I enjoyed Spike's journey and where he ended up. I also am excited to see where he is going! Nice little teaser at the end gives us an idea where he will go next. The bugs were of course, as always, so funny and wonderful. Well done!
