We Need to Talk About Adam

by Adam Croft

Adam Croft is a successful crime thriller author with a number of best-selling books to his name. His works have been adapted as audio plays starring some of Britain's best-known actors. Underneath this success, though, Adam has been battling severe clinical depression for most of his life.

This groundbreaking new book details some remarkably frank incidents, including a breakdown shortly before his recent marriage which resulted in him calling off the wedding and draining his bank account of over ten thousand pounds. (Don't worry: it all came good in the end.)

In this startlingly honest and harrowing autobiographical account of his battle with depression, Adam helps the reader get into the mind of someone living with a mental illness and break down the barriers of perception and taboo surrounding the subject.

The book is written with honesty, heart and humour, and through the strikingly honest accounts of his experiences, This is not a depression self-help book, yet Adam helps to provide insight and information for those who have no experience with depression, and hope and solace for those who do.
