About the author

I love to write short stories for children. I strive to convey everyday morals and sensitivities in young minds. My stories use simple characters and sometimes animals as characters to allow children to imbibe the values from the stories easily.

As a collection of children's stories I found it to be quite good, the stories are short and to the point. Most importantly the message in each story is very positive and written so as to be easily understood by even fairly young children. The illustrations are quite colourful and will certainly enhance the telling of the stories. However, I feel that Rachna needs to polish the work a bit more to come across a bit more professional in her writing and occasionally she uses words that young children might not easily understand.It is clear that she is passionate and thoughtful about her writing and that passion comes through in the stories. I would certainly be interested in reading more of Rachna's writing in the future.
