Everyone is invited to come inside, but only a chosen few have been selected to move into a house that may or may not unite them all. Whatever happens, the last person standing will have bragging rights, but they also may have lifetime scars to go along with it. For three months, living in one bedroom, using one bathroom, dining at the same kitchen table, sharing one TV and having no access to family or cell phones, this may be a serious problem for the most controversial characters you’ve grown to love or possibly hate. Roc Dawson from Full Figured, Chase Jenkins from Don’t Even Go There, Sylvia McMillan from SLICK, Jada Mahoney from How Can I Be Down?, Jamal “Prince” Perkins from Street Soldier and Jaylin Rogers from the Naughty Series will attempt to put their overwhelming differences aside and calm their unique personalities. Without supervision, though, anything inside of this house is bound to happen, and nothing or no one is off limits. Drama will be the main course, and it will be served by cutthroat individuals determined to have it all. Topped with a hint of raunchiness and manipulation, some may not be able to resist temptation. But survival by any means necessary will remain the primary motive. Who will be the last woman/man standing or who will walk out, slamming the door behind them screaming at the top of their lungs.

Hampton's latest releases are: Don't Even Go There, Full Figured 1, The Dirty Truth and Book 6 of the Naughty Series. Naughty includes Hampton’s most loveable, desired, and outrageous character, Jaylin Rogers. Readers can’t get enough of this “bad boy” and his continued drama goes on in Naughty No More. Other novels include: Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Right, SLICK, How Can I Be Down?, No Justice No Peace, a Girls from Da Hood collaboration with Brenda Hampton, Keisha Ervin and Ed McNair, and Who or What is in that Closet?!, a children's chapter book that Hampton wrote with her son, Aaron Littlejohn.
I enjoyed reading this book. Hell House 2: The Roof is on Fire is a good read. The casts are on fire and crazy in this book. However, Brenda Hampton did a good job. I can't wait to read part 3 of this book because I want to know who win the challenge.
Great sequel! Can't wait to see who will be the last man/woman standing. Some scandalous stuff went on in the house for real! The characters from the Naughty series, Full Figured, Don't Even Go There, Slick, Street Soujah, and How Can I Be Down all appeared in the house and the fireworks begin for real. Brenda has done a great job weaving this novel into a soap opera of sorts. Any and everything goes on in the house and all types of schemes are done to get the others to leave. The individual personalities of Roc, Jaylin, Chase, Prince, Sylvia and Jada all show their true colors in this 2 part series and I am anticipating the next novel. I must know who becomes the last one standing! A few grammatical errors and missed words along the way but truly it was a very good novel if you like the Reality Series that come on TV. It was very interesting and I think anyone reading it will be intrigued by how far one will go to be the last man/woman standing in the house! Great job Brenda Hampton!
Hell House 2 like any reality tv show, picks up where part 1 left off. Lust can lead to a lot of trouble...so could pent up frustration. When housemates get the boot, the game takes on a new set of rules. No one can be trusted and it is every man..or woman for themselves. As the flames are fanned and the roof catches fire, there is no telling who will be left standing.
B.Hampton know she wrong for all this scandalous juice..lol. Though the plot is centered in a house, it never slowed down. It gave me everything: suspense, juicy drama, a lot of laughs and some steamy sex encounters. Did I mention drama??? OMG, I can't believe that shocker she sneaked in there. Can't wait for the reunion show, lol.
This installment was ok. I definitely liked the first one better. This story really didnt get interesting until Chase got down with Roc and Jaylin. Then it heated up. Everything before that was a prelude to the conclusion, and really wasn't all that interesting. I do have to say that I am disappointed that the all 3 parts are now going to be published by Zane and we have to wait until October for it to come out. I don't think it's fair for the people who have purchased these first two parts now have to go and pay nearly $10 for a Zane presents version of this book when we only need to read the last part.
All I can say is DAMN......there was a lot of mess going on in here.....can't wait to see what happens in book 3 along with the reunion.....I am a true Roc and Desa Rae fan and I hope that things work out for them......didn't really care for Prince at all so there was no love lost when he was put out....I don't know what to say about Chase but she is a true Bitch in every sense of the word.....Jada is just Jada don't like to call people stupid but that's what she is....Jaylin is Jay and there's not a damn thing you can do about it but they will soon learn that he's not one to be played with.....
I'm loving this reality show in books. I can't wait until book 3 to find out who won the money! I have a strong idea but I won't share in fear that I may give something's away. I am a huge Fan of Ms Hampton's work but Sept is a long time for me to find out the goods, lol! If you haven't had the chance to read this new novel check it out you won't be disappointed. To all the Jaylin and Roc Fans they are back........ I love them! Happy Reading
I wish I had read the first one before reading this. Now I will have to back track. Set in a house with 5 people (one left as the book was starting) on a reality show Hell House was OK. I enjoyed it. Brenda Hampton is a good writer. I just wish few of the characters weren't caricatures. Jada and Roc for instance. It seems like all the characters are exaggerated. It left off with an interesting cliff hanger. I have plenty of time to read the first before the last one comes out in October.
Ok so I am hooked on this series. This cast of characters have no filter and no limits to what they will or won't do to win the prize money. Every elimination so far has had me shocked and the cliff hanger ending of #2 has me again heading to my library for book #3. I hope when this one ends she has another cast of characters for us to visit in Hell House. I don't think I am a reality tv fan yet but I sure am a reality tv book fan.
