Rate this book
London’s got a handle on life, even with vampire for friends and werewolves for clients. A couple of weeks ago, she even branched out and did a job for a wizard. So when a drop-dead gorgeous Sidhe, one of the more dangerous races of fey, wants to hire her, London Eyer hasn’t a clue just how out of control her life will become. With one Touch, and she’s cursed for life. The addictive magic of the Sidhe shreds her like nothing she could have imagined. Leaving her with only the question… Will she serve the Sidhe? Or hunt them?

Note: Touched is one of three companion series that comprises Season One of The Sidhe. These three storylines take place concurrently, and have cross-overs and interweaving storyline threads that closely bind the three mini-series. The Champion of the Sidhe mini-series follows Lugh’s story. The Rise of the Unseelie follows Donovan, Malcolm, Kieran and the other earthborns.

I love this series. The combination of fascinating deadly creatures that you would never want to mess with or accidently piss off, fantasy in our modern Ireland setting is exciting, addicting and a must read if you like stories that intertwine Fey, vampires, werewolves, goblins, dragons, wizards in a winner take all setting. It's politics and world domination to an extreme.

My favorite character though is London, the only human without any powers, just her will, wit and use of weaponry to survive the gauntlet of this hidden world once she enters it through her friendship with a vampire mistress. She is a mercenary of sorts, and is hired into this world to do odd jobs for the magically inclined. Her downfall is not being picky about her clients and an accident that changes her life forever. She is destined to be a part of this magical do-or-die destiny and she uses all she has to survive.

This is a must read if you like fantasy of any kind! It's a must read if you just like a great story that leaves you drained and half stuck in that world after you put it down. I bit half my nails off reading it. Great writing, without giving anything away. In fact, I dare anyone to be able to guess any of it in advance. It was full of surprises.
