A Willow Springs Ranch Romantic Short Story created free for the Ty and Cass fans.
Valentine's Day should have been their wedding day, but Ty had put a stop to all the foolishness weeks ago. As peace offerings went, a chocolate three-layer cake with buttercream icing wasn't much, but Cass would forgive him. Eventually. Cass has other plans...

Short and sweet, this is the story of a couple that got in a fight about having a commitment ceremony. Ty is hesitant and the one who pulled back, but Cass has some issues as well. Both decide to make up at the same time, and what follows is some extremely hot make-up sex.
If you like short, sexy interludes, and if you're looking for an uncomplicated, fun read with just a touch of angst, you will probably like this short story.
I only gave it 1 star for the amount of effort it must have taken for her to change the other authors work she stole so it could pass a plagiarism check.
Laura Harner has stolen other authors' work and I can't help but think has she stolen this story too? Does she not have an imagination to write her own stories?
2.5 A short Cass and Tyler's story that should have been incorporated into the first book somehow. The argument they have here started in either the second or the third book, but it could have been inserted into the ending of Ty Hard. Since he held a knife to his lover's neck once thinking he is an enemy, Ty is afraid. Here he has to accept that Cass isn't letting him go.
It is an addition to a series I just discovered. I have not started the series, I found this book on Kindle first.
It isn't complicated. The main character is having doubts about what he means to his partner. The doubts are put aside. I might look into the rest of this series.
A sweet, sexy little short going back to the roots of Willow Springs Ranch.
Ty has stopped the commitment ceremony because he thinks Cass was caught up in drama and didn't really mean the proposal. Cass finds the perfect way to convince Ty he means forever.
I personally love when an author finds the time to remind us of the reason we started following a series. The main characters are what bring us in and who we fall in love with. As often happens we fall in love with MC's and the world the author is building with the first MC's becoming extras in the continuing stories. I really enjoy it when we get the original characters back for a sexy little romp!
Quick, sweet, easy read- following up with Ty and Cass after the proposal at Christmas. This takes place on Valentine's Day, the day these 2 were to be married. Ty put a stop to it because AZ doesn't allow gay marriage and he didn't think they should even bother with a commitment ceremony. He was hurt by Cass's words from book 3 and he's not sure where he stands with Cass. He understands he also shares some of the responsibility with the tension they are dealing with. Unbeknownst to Ty, Cass has made some changes to prove he is 100% committed to Ty, Ty just has to let go and accept that no matter what Cass will be there for him. I've really enjoyed this whole series!
This was a nice little edition to wrap up a loose end from the previous book. For the short length, it packed an emotional punch.
Ty is hurting and uncertain from a situation that occurred between he and his lover, Cass, in the previous story. He knows that he owns part of the responsibility to resolve the trouble and he makes plans to do so, but then has a scary moment when he thinks that he may have pushed Cass too far.
Fans of the series will enjoy this snippet and everyone else absolutely must start at the beginning story to appreciate this one.
Great read if...you enjoyed the other books in the series, a quick read, are looking for more a quick scene than a whole story, remembered the fight that happened in book3 and are aching to see the aftermath, romance, M/M sex, and a HEA! (Side note: I really felt this could've been tagged onto Book 3. I know that wasn't THEIR story but still. Also, I love that Cass and Ty make a valid appearance in every book!)
Sadly, I feel I have no other choice than to reduce my ratings for all Laura Harner books. The evidence of plagiarism for some of her books appears incontrovertible and she has even apologized for it. This, for me, taints her entire body of work. I can no longer trust the integrity of any of her writing.
This in no way reflects upon the integrity or quality of any author with whom she collaborated.
This was too short, choppy and underdeveloped to be able to like. The plot was ill-thought out, the characters bland, and the setting could have been a cardboard box for all I gathered from the non existent description. It may have been meant as a teaser, perhaps, but it had an adverse effect on me and put me off buying the other books.
A short but very nice snippet, following Ty's decision not to get married - and how both Ty and Cass deal with the issue. Need to read the series really to understand the nuances but OK for a quick coffee break read if you dont mind not knowing the history to get to this point.
I can see I missed a lot judging by the other reviews. I've never read other Ty/chass stories so it felt like something was missing But again maybe I would have giving it the 4-5 Stars if I had read the books before/after this
I liked this short story. I have to admit that I haven't read the preceding books in the series, but based on this read, I admit I'm curious enough about Ty & Cass's story to go back and read them soon.
I can never get enough of Ty and Cass. This was short and sweet...just a scene, really. Ty is the best. Hopefully there will be more written about this couple.
