In the 5th installment of The Love, Lies & Lust Series, Octavia and Damon are back and more in love than ever. Together they’ve seen their share of death and destruction. Now, with the conviction of Octavia’s abductor, their lives can finally return to normal. However, there is nothing normal about being a Whitmore and trouble always seems to surface when it's least expected. When the unthinkable happens, Octavia is faced with her most devastating tragedy yet and slips into a pit of depression where her mind seems to be her number one enemy and maintaining her sanity is slowly becoming a losing battle. There is nothing Damon won’t do for Octavia but there are some things even his love and money can’t repair. The more he attempts to console her, the further she pushes him away. What is a man to do when giving his all is just not enough? As the drama unfolds, Octavia and Damon are reminded that life is far from a fairy tale and very few people get their own happily ever after.

My fave couple is BACK!
The 5th book in the LOVE, LIES & LUST series starts and ends with a BANG...
I bought this book and finished all in the same day. The twist and turns LEFT ME SPEECHLESS.
'I wondered if she could hear herself. If she believed the things that she was saying. I wondered who the woman standing in front of me was and what she had done with the woman I loved.' ~Inner monologue of Damon
Tragedy strikes the Whitmore family leaving devastation in it's wake. Octavia and Damon have had many ups and downs but nothing prepares them for this. When Octavia begins to spiral completely out of control it leaves Damon helpless in regards to helping her cope. He tries and tries... But a man can only take but so much.
Octavia literally starts to go
...As she slowly starts to come around to pick up the pieces of sanity she has left she realizes what she has been doing. It's time to right her wrongs... But it may just be to late.
My Thoughts Gotta be honest I fought myself on how to rate this book... This author really gave it to me so I kept it at 4 stars on the Goodreads star rating box. One thing Mz. Robinson knows how to do is tell a story. And tell a story she did. I kept this review as short as possible because I do not want to spoil it for any of the readers. Therefore I will end with this.. If you enjoy this series then this is A MUST READ!!!!
My Ratings Characters- Lovable except a few Writing Style- Suspenseful, edgy and full of twist Plot/Storyline- Fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat Steam Factor- Medium/Mild Steam Overall- I enjoyed it! Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it on Goodreads! For more reviews got to http://realitybites-letsgetlost.blogs...
How much can one family endure? It's like the never ending cycle of avengers inheriting the revenge to administer. This book was fast paced (or maybe it was shorter in length lol), but had me on the edge of my seat with each swipe of the page. Still love Damon and Octavia and can't wait to continue their story to see what other obstacles come out the wood work... but given the ending I have a feeling a certain someone will be returning to be a little messy. But she should watch her step because Octavia definitely showed her gangsta side in this book, play with her if you want to!
Damon and Octavia are back…again. Tragedy has struck and Octavia seems to be losing her mind as a result.
“No Ordinary Love” was a little too far-fetched for my liking. I also found it to be predictable. While I didn’t know the who and why of everything, it wasn’t hard to figure out what was going to happen. The stingy margins didn’t help either.
Mz. Robinson has quickly become an author in my sights. This simply was not her best work. Five books in, this series really needs to end.
G Street, what was up with the book covers for this series??? Damon and Octavia changed with each cover.
AMAZING is the only word that comes to mind! This series is still on fire!! I've read series before and I'd say, "Okay, it's time to end this," but Mz. Robinson keeps giving me stories and making me want more. Her ability to draw me into the story is AMAZING. Another 5Star read! Mz. Robinson...AMAZING...that's all I can say! Keep giving us your best and we'll keep coming back! ~BOSS LADI
It took me a while to get through this book mainly because I think these characters have run their course. This series started out so good, and I grew very fond if these characters, but it seems as though they have reached their peak. I really didn't understand the negative things that were happening in the beginning of the story and why they were happening. These events were what made me out the book down because I couldn't understand why these horrible things keep happening to Damon and Octavia. Will these two ever catch a break?? I'd like to see a happy ending for them because all the pain and suffering is way overrated now. The way this book ended leaves an opening for another. Although I really enjoyed the first 3 books of this series I don't think I'll be reading anymore.
Once again Mz. Robinson handled business. I just knew this was the end of the The Love Lies and Lust Series, but she proved me wrong AGAIN. Bringing a host of new characters that you wouldn't believe would have a part in the story. I'm so ready for the rest of the series. I feel like Octavia and Damon are a part of my own family. I've grown to love them and really enjoy reading out the life changing events in their lives. I found myself trying to slow down my reading pace, so that the story wouldn't end. Job well done!!! A 5 Plus Star Banger will written!
This was just okay.....not as good as the others.....When I read the first book I fell in love with the characters and the author.....bought all three of them and couldn't stop recommending them to others.....but this was not Mz. Robinson's best work.....IMHO Mz. Robinson shouldn't have let the best friends die there was really no need if the series was to continue.....Not sure why all the bad things happen to Octavia and Damon but I guess the author will reveal what she has planned for them soon.....Hopefully sooner rather than later.....Time to let this series go.....
MZ Robinson does it again. This series is crazy! Can this couple go through any more drama? Why, yes they can and I love it! With each book in this series, you are immediately drawn into the story. There's always deviousness lurking and a cast of haters, but Octavia and Damon will do whatever's necessary to protect their family. The ending was great and I can't wait to see what happens with Tamara.
Oh my gosh the first thing I want to say is I didn't think Octavia had it in her. That was the best beat down ever. I so proud of her for how she defended her family from Venetta aka Shayla. Now her family is complete. Now for the epilogue there's going to some serious epic s... happening in the next book. Tamara is sister, to Damon's best friend, Savoy. Who married Octavia's best friend Shontay. Both died.
So extremely disappointed in this book. SMH. The series really just needs to end. It was so rushed and all over the place and it gets crazier and more unrealistic by the page. I like when the book was about the love between Savoy/Shontay and Damon/Octavia. Now it's all over the place. I could barely finish it but i forced myself too. So, so disappointed
I just bought this book on my kindle and finished it the same day! Mz. Robinson keeps amazing me with her stories. I feel like I can relate to Octavia and Damon. All I have to say is Mz. Robinson, I never want this series to end!!
Another good read. Tabitha was just straight crazy. Shyla Rice (fake one) simply psycho. Katilyn aligned herself with the wrong team. Tamara sneaky, hadey b. Damon just wrong. Octavia takes a stand after going on a couple of trips.
I enjoyed this installment just like the others. Although some things were predictable, the story still kept my attention. My only critique is the misspelling of certain names throughout the book.
