Three months after turning Dark and being granted a second trial, Summer has succeeded in winning back not only her soul, but saving that of the Master of Dark as well. She leaves the hospital with some doubts as to whether or not she and Decker can be together, given all they’ve been through and how Dark his deeds were. Summer must choose whether or not she can risk her heart by taking a second chance to love the tormented Decker, whose only peace in the world is found in her arms.

Meanwhile, the fate of the Master of Light becomes more challenging. If finding a way to undo all the Dark that was done by his brother wasn’t enough, he’s compelled to a girl who shouldn’t draw his interest, but who he can’t get out of his mind.

I breathe stories. I dream them. If it were possible, I'd eat them, too. (I'm pretty sure they'd taste like cotton candy.) I can't escape them - they're everywhere! Which is why I write! I was born to bring the crazy worlds and people in my mind to life, and I love sharing them with as many people as I can.

I'm also the bestselling, award winning, internationally acclaimed author of over sixty titles and counting. I write speculative fiction in multiple subgenres of romance and fantasy, contemporary fiction, books for both teens and adults, and just about anything else I feel like writing. If I can imagine it, I can write it!

I live in the desert of southern Arizona with a pack of spoiled dogs and Tubbs, the Godfather cat who rules them all.

I loved this novella! In fact I love this entire series! This novella was definitely essential to this series and it had so much in it but I would have loved for it to have been longer but I guess that I am being insanely greedy as it is only a novella lol but I am desperate for the next book! The plot continued on from where Autumn Storm left off but in a way it was completely different to what I was expecting it to be! So much was revealed in this novella that I found amazing! I wasn't expecting most of it at all! I loved that as the rest of this series it was written in Summer and Decker's point of views which I loved especially after seeing Summer and Decker's relationship develop in Dark Summer and then suffer a terrible fate! Some chapters were also written from Beck's point of view as well which I loved! The characters were again amazing! Summer was so strong and she definitely deserved some happiness after what happened to her at the end of Dark Summer! Decker was super sweet! I loved that he finally got Summer back after he was tormented by her death! Beck's point of view at the end of this book was perfect! I couldn't stop reading it because it sounds like a new love interest for Beck which he definitely deserves! The ending of this novella leaves so much open to what could happen in the next book in this series and I am really looking forward to reading it! The cover is also stunning! Big thank you to Lizzy for providing me with a copy of Autumn Dawn!

Similar to Summer Night, this book was definitely recommended to be read before the third book. It contained important storyline much more crucial than Summer Night. Recommended to be read before Winter Fire.

Spoiler!!!

Beck finally revealed what he did in Summer Night and Autumn finally regained her original identity. She was afraid that Decker would not want her back. Same goes with Decker. He thought that there was no way that any girl would want him for what he had done. ans that was pretty much about it.

I don't think there are words to express how excited I have been for another installment of this series, I am so beyond hooked it is like I physically need to know what is next and lucky I was able to read an advanced copy of this book (thank you Lizzy for feeding my addiction).

This story like all the others in the series takes off right where the previous one ended, I like the fact there are no huge time gaps as in some series this can get confusing with working out a timeline between events.

If you have read my reviews for the other books in this series you will know how much I adore the characters and the story line, it is unique and unlike any other story I have read and I am a complete Witchling addict, you have no idea how excited I was to find out that the trilogy is now being turned into a saga I could quite happily read more and more of these without getting the slightest bit bored.

This books starts off with explaining how Autumn is Summer, and how she is still both girls. You understand why her looks and identity had to be hidden and just how rare it is for someone to not only to get a second chance but to pass in fact Summer is the first to have come back from the Dark.

I was smitten seeing Decker and Summer reunite, yes he did some questionable things while he went dark but you know that no matter what his heart still belonged to her and that made you realize just how strong their relationship is.

I am not normally one to read Novella's but when it comes to one written by Lizzy you don't feel so much that it is a short story but more on continual Novella that grants you access to areas you may have been confused about and gives you an extra helping of all your favorite characters.

I literally cannot wait for the next book Winter Kiss, I may have to start bribing Lizzy to write faster. Anyone know what her favorite Candy is?

If you felt like me at the end of Autumn Storm, book 2 of the Witchling series, you will love this novella. It tells you everything that happens after book 2 and it’s oh so satisfying but also wets your appetite for book 3, which I’m also anxious to read now. What an addicting series, I read both books and the two novellas in two days and I have to say, the story telling is gripping and sucks you right in. I couldn’t put them down!

Autumn, now back to her former self must reacclimatize to being Summer again. Will everyone adjust to it? Will she? Her biggest concern is Beck, who really had a time in book 2. I’m glad to see Summer back and dwelling in her head now that things are quite in disarray made for an awesome novella. I can’t wait to read the next book!

I absolutely love this series. Although the author States that this is her first YA she writes it as though she has been doing it forever. I love the intense drama that she builds with the struggle between good and evil. Summer shows that although she made a mistake there is such a thing as second chances and Decker who she loves as much as the need to breathe is needed. I definitely love the Tarzan issue the way it was dealt with but I wont spoil the story for you. I can't wait yo read more with these fabulous and about Dawn a not so nice evil girl. I highly recommend this series for all ages.

This was an amazing transition into the third book. I loved the way that Autumn found out he was really Summer. I enjoy reading these books, they flow together so well. I'm glad that Summer and Decker found each other again. The third books sounds like it will be full of surprises. I am very interested in finding out what exactly Morgan is, meaning why she is stuck in between. Also what Dawn has in store for us this time. Good going Lizzy, another great book!!

I absolutely love that Lizzy Ford gives us these great "bridge" novellas that help tie the books together. I would say this story is one of her best, but I feel that way about all of her books! I'm ready for Winter's Kiss to come out. Thanks for the great stories Lizzy!

My mind was seriously  like a tornado of questions for days & days after reading autumn storm..
 description
"Did autumn/summer past the test?".." If she did will decker still want to be with her?".."Will they still love each other? Or will deckers darkness destroy there second chance?".." Will she be autumn or Summer?".. " What about beck? & the Baby!?"...

All i could do was think & Worry, think & worry, think & worry And then I saw Autumn Dawn was released!...oh Happy Days!
description
After dancing around the house for a while i some how managed to contain myself & quickly grab a copy in-which I  gobbled it up!...Ok so i actually had to read it 3 times to be truly content, it gave such a clear understanding of how the test worked & how summer was concealed I had to face palm myself because of all my worrying!
description

The tension between summer & decker when they finally saw was so thick you could of cut it with a knife, and the pure raw emotion made me cry. (why do I always cry!)

I'm totally thrilled beck found his (hopeful) other half (even if decker won't be over the moon about it, given Becky's track record....Crazy Dawn anyone!)  seriously I cannot wait to see  how things work out between them too in Winter Kiss, which will be coming soon. *fingers crossed*

I received this book in exchange for an unbiased review!!
Autumn Dawn by Lizzy Ford

I am absolutely floored and in love with this series!! I'm dying for the next book. The author has blown my socks off with this series and am dying to know what's going to happen to our trio (Autumn, Decker, and Becker.) I beg the author for the next book and hope it is released very very soon!! I dying to find out more about this fire headed young girl, Morgan and her brother, Conner!!

This book is the continuation of the series after Autumn Storm. It takes us to what happens after Autumn Storm ended and what happens to Autumn. It has been 3 months since Summer fell off the cliff and changed to Autumn for her second trial as a chance to redeem not only herself but those she loves. She past but will the people that knew her as Autumn still feel the same knowing it was Summer all along in a spell. Will Decker love her?

You know how you can't wait for the next book and just want to know what the heck is going to happen next....then you get the next book, but feel like you missed something? That is what I love about this book. It fills in that gap between the book you just finished and the next book by giving you that insight you missed with the next book. In this novella Autumn realizes she is Summer and Summer has to decide if she can forgive Decker for all that he has done since she "died" while questioning if he still loves her or will prefer Autumn. I also love how it built into the book Beck's upcoming challenges with Dawn and Morgan, a new student at the school is who is neither dark nor light. Waiting with baited breath for the next installment!

I don't have enough words for The Witchling Series! These books are absolutely amazing, and I am thrilled beyond words for the novellas that tie them each together. The words just flow, and I can't press the next button on my kindle fast enough while reading these books. I have to say though Fall is an awfully long time to wait for the next installment!! Leave it to Lizzy to always find a way to make me cry while reading these books. I loved how Summer's elements took the form of Summer and Tarzan to show her what had happened since she fell from Miner's Drop. And of course that she and Decker are back with each other. I'm very intrigued about Morgan and her brother and the "in between" that Beck senses with them. Cannot wait!!

I liked that this novelette was double the length of the 1.5 novelette. In a way, this novelette was like the final four chapters of "Autumn Storm" but, while I can't know for sure since Book 3 isn't out yet, it seems like it will do a good job of transitioning between Books 2 and 3. It tied up loose ends that would have left readers in too much agony to wait till Book 3 lol. It also seems to set the stage for what Book 3 might be about.

The environment was a very familiar one, as it's all set in areas we're already familiar with. Autumn/Storm/Decker/Beck all stay true to their characters. I like that new characters are introduced as a stepping stone for Book 3.

The witchling saga never fails to surprise me..It continued right after Autumn's trial.. and as always the characters were great as ever.. Each of them finally learned their mistakes and somehow, they promised to be better and do what's right.. Despite its shortness, the novelette gave me hope for Decker and Summer's love story.. They eventually found their way back to each other.. I'm happy for Beck too.. Eventhough, he's having threats from Dawn, he managed to find a new partner in crime... I hope its a happy ever after too.. I'm looking forward for double dates!

Just like the first book, Autumn Dawn filled my expectations. It was so short, but answered all my questions after I read the first book, I really like that the writer wrote this novella before moving onto the next book.
I'm glad that Beck didn't turn out as a total jerk after all. He's expecting a baby and and even though I hate it's Dawn's, I think he could be a good father.

I would call this novella a filler, since nothing special happened, it's mostly answering readers' questions with a connected story. Moving onto the next book very soon.

I was givin the chance to read this book for a review on how I felt about it, I must say it didnt let me down. I was totally hooked on it as well as her first book Dark Summer, the charecters come to life with every paragraph I read, it as if I'm ther with them, feel their pain sorrows, anger, and joy. It totally put my imagination in high gear. Thank you Lizzy for entertaining me so well, and allowing me to take my self to a difverent world.

Words can not describe how much I loved this book!!

The story picked up right where Autumn Storm (book 2) left off and did not disappoint. I am a huge fan of Autumn/Summer and Decker and loved the way the story unfolded. I can't wait for book #3 (Winter's Kiss) so that I can see what happens with Beck.

I definitely recommend this book, and I know you will love it as much as I did. :)

Yes. I love novellas. They tell you a lot of what's missing from the books that are before them. This one totally did. That's all I'm saying because you have to read this to find out. Thanks so much to Lizzy for telling me what I wanted to know about Beck, Decker and Summer /Autumn before I went mad waiting.

I hate novellas. They're always too short. They never have enough substance for me.

Correction: I used to hate novellas. Freaking loved this one, didn't I? What a perfect bridge from AUTUMN STORM to WINTER FIRE.

This series is SO amazingly readable, awesome, fun, etc. For paranormal lovers like me, this is a must. Must must must.

Sentences that do not compute...

Also! In my understanding .5 books are not strictly necessary to read, they're like a point of view of events in a previous book from another character or a side story or something - NOT! vitally important information and plot points that leave you confused and disgruntled if you don't read them (which is what this is - ie, read this or be desperately confused)

This novelette was a great linking snippet between books 2 and 3. It was good to see Decker happy again, Summer come to terms with Autumn, and Beck with some direction. Not to mention the new Morgan and how intriguing that will become. It really gets you excited for the next book - I can't wait!
