Sabbaths. Summoning. Potions. Witches. Folklore, humour and horror blend together in this unconventional tale. Meet Tessa Harlow, she’s a witch, but she’s anything but typical. She just wants to be left alone to make her potions, often by nefarious deeds, but that’s not about to happen. She crosses someone who takes matters into their own hands. Meet Glib’reekeshi, or Glib, as he’s known as. He’s a demon with an unsavoury habit when summoned from the underworld. Tessa needs his help, though. Will this surprising duo, aided by some others, be able to discover who wants Tessa dead before it’s too late? As Tessa discovers who is behind the attacks on her being, a deadly showdown ensues. Will she overcome the odds, or be damned to hell herself?

If you’re looking for a dark fantasy with gore, orgies, witches, demons, and total mayhem…. Look no further!

This was a fun story, with a devious main character who has a target on their back after crossing the wrong entity.

I was a bit confused about the continuity, as the tooth troll was already at the girl’s house, so I’m not sure how the father would’ve sent it as an assassin against Tessa if it was already there stealing his daughter’s teeth and Tessa showed up later…

I love stories about witches. Witches are scary, fierce and mostly underrated. So of course I had to read this story about Tessa, a witch that accidentally kills the wrong child.
There are demons, Satan himself (hot dude) and a tooth troll in this novella. Very well written and highly entertaining.
I definitely have to check out Ayralea Lander’s other works.

Great take on modern fantasy, with a great lead. This was fun from start to finish with, comedy, darkness, gore, and something I personally love, magic. I think I'm going to need to read a sequel to this because I can't get enough. 5 stars!

I love when an author can make you want to see the bad guy come out on top and that's exactly what Lander did with her main character Tessa. My favorite part was Tessa's relationship with Glib. This was a fun story, non stop action and interesting characters.

Tessa Harlow is not your typical witch, nor is this your typical story of a witch. She lives alone in secret in the woods in a modest cabin with all the things one needs to have a comfortable life.  One thing that Tessa is really into is potions. She makes all types; making so many types of potions means she needs all kinds of different ingredients. One ingredient in particular she uses is teeth, and she just happens to be down to her last one. While out to retrieve teeth, thanks to the handy map given to her by Glib the demon (she summons the demon to locate teeth that are under children's pillows, waiting for the tooth fairy to come), she makes a decision that will not bode well for her. A super fun read. Funny, violent and will leave you wanting more. Another great tale for Ayralea! Check it out on Godless!

Tessa is a truly unapologetically evil witch. She takes pleasure in Satan summoning orgies, harvesting children's teeth before the tooth fairy can get them, and cutting the fat from kids' bodies. Until she takes the wrong child. What starts out as a witch gleefully collecting potion ingredients quickly turns into steamy orgies and unbridled violence. It's easy to lose yourself in this quick and brutal story. A++

Wicked!
My second read from Lander, and this one is a blast. TEETH reads as if Poppy Z. Brite and Robert Devereaux teamed up for an infernal, nightmarish fairy tale. You're gonna have a lot of fun with this one. Highly recommended!
