22-year-old Camryn Jacobs lost the love of her life once and vows to never kiss another guy unless she's in love with him. When she meets Teague, their attraction to one another is off the charts, and for the first time in two years, she wants to disregard her rule.

But Camryn makes a bet that he can't go just one week without kissing her. She's protecting her own fragile heart, but her wit and smart mouth end up driving Teague crazy.

When Teague is equally skilled at her challenge, their friendship turns complicated. He's not at all what she assumed, and he makes her feel things she never expected to feel. But sharing her true reasons for the no-kiss bet hurts too much and she keeps him in the dark.

Teague has his own secrets to hide, starting with his last name. It's the reason he left town--to lick his wounds until he can piece his life back together. His time with Camryn proves that it might actually be possible, but with the threat of his family and his past ruining all that he's finally gained, can he really take that risk again?

Loving might be easy; learning to trust again could be too difficult to achieve...

Besides books, I love music, dance, sports, and sunshine. I love live music and love going to concerts. Doesn't tell you much, but you'll learn way more about me from social media or my blog site!

My writing: I don't write short stories. I'd rather have one full story instead of turning it into two. I believe in order to build a relationship with a book, it takes time to get to know it. I like my characters to be well-developed. I like the story to show rather than tell. I like my heroes to have integrity and my heroines to be strong. Just as importantly, I like them to have a sense of humor. I believe in adversity because it is a natural part of life, and I like my characters to learn that as well. And I definitely *prefer* happily ever afters!

Thanks for reading!

A very sweet and sexy read! Loved the mystery.

There's nothing like the excitement of that first kiss with someone...

The build up.
The tension.
The undeniable lust.
That exact moment where your lips connect, your body tingles, and your mind shuts off and allows you to get entirely lost in sensation.

Kiss This generously brings all of that excitement to life. The author does an amazing job making you ache for that first lip-lock and has quite a knack for transforming a 'barely there' kiss into an all-out seduction.

So now that I've covered the ever-amazing 'first kiss', I want to highlight the perks of the plot—which were pretty awesome in their own right. I truly love when a story offers mystery and intrigue without complicating it with confusion. I enjoyed the twists and unexpected turns this book took, and it was fun trying to decipher the direction of the story. I enjoyed the humor and wit each character possessed, as well as the ease and flow of the writing. The emotional pasts that haunted both characters were excuted believably and succeeded in adding depth to an otherwise light read.

After suffering a tremendous personal loss, Camryn Jacobs has finally gotten to the point where it's easy to breathe again. With her carefully constructed barriers intact, she remains emotionally numb and vows to never kiss another man until she falls in-love...

There's not much of me to have, Teague. You'll learn that soon enough.

 photo image_zps9b39dfa8.jpg

Teague Chandler is instantly drawn to Camryn and has no problems making it known. Although currently facing his own personal demons, Teague makes it his mission to earn a kiss from Camryn by agreeing to follow her rules. But Camyrn had no clue just how difficult the sexy and charming Teague would be to resist...And it certainly was fun witnessing her attempts!

You'll be kissing me at midnight and you'll never want to stop.

This story is written in third person but alternates focus between the two characters. I found this approach refreshing; it gave the story a shared 'first person perspective' feel, offering insight to both characters without tons of unnecessary detail. There were a few areas where I felt the story's initial momentum declining, but it was quick to pick back up and reel me in, yet again.

Cam's character rocked! She was feisty and witty and I felt like virtually high-fiving her as she so candidly composed herself with clever comebacks and humorous banter. Teague was sweet and guarded, cocky yet slightly insecure—and very much protective over Cam. He certainly kept her on her toes and their connection was as entertaining as it was sexy.

Loved the characters, the romance, the secrets and intrigue! Definitely looking forward to more from this author!

3 words. Loved. This. Book.

“If I could choose one thing to do before I died, it would be kissing you,” he spoke softly. ~Teague

Camryn Jacobs suffered a loss that not only left her devastated... But it also caused her to promise never to kiss another man again unless she was in love with him. Two years later while up north in Oregon visiting her mother she meets Teague. Teague was in a surfing accident and decided to walk away from it all. Now hiding out up north things start to look up when Teague spots Camryn and knows that he wants her. And after meeting her he knows he will have her… But Camryn on the other hand is not so easily swayed by the cocky hottie who seems to be so sure that he can have her.

In fact she gives it to him straight..

“There’s not much of me to even have, Teague. You’ll learn that soon enough.”

“Now that sounds like another challenge.”

“It’s not meant to be. It’s a disclaimer.”

“Don’t we all come with one? I’ve got issues, too. I don’t let people get close to me, either. I’d rather keep my shit in the closet without feeling obligated to share just because I’ve been with a girl for more than a day.”

 photo lovelustgif_zps00e62110.gif

A bet is made between the two at a party about a kiss. If Teague can go a full week without kissing Camryn then he gets to have her in his bed.(his terms not hers but she agrees) Confident cocky Teague accepts the bet determined to have her. Slowly these two emotionally closed off people begin to form a friendship, one that seems like it can be more.

However
one is not being completely honest about who they are…
and the other is not ready to face fears harbored deep within…

Unfortunately duty calls and Camryn has to head back south for work before the week is up. In her haste to leave Camryn forgets to call Teague, not even with a goodbye.

He knows in his heart that she is not a woman you just let walk away. So Teague eventually finds her in California and goes to explore what can be between them.

Very happy yet surprised to see him Camryn goes to him.
When the truth starts to come out Camryn and Teague weather the storm together but you know what they say…

My Thoughts
I loved it! You get great characters, great laughs, a secret or two revealed and some SMOKING H O T chemistry with Camryn and Teague. Most of all I loved Camryn! She is hardcore, gives it you straight and she refuses to put up with any bullsh*t whether you be male or female. I think the firecracker attitude she has is one of the reasons Teague pursues her it wasn’t just her beauty.

Camryn also has a little sister Melanie, that she practically raised. Melanie is a wild child who does what she wants when she wants without a care in the world. I found her very entertaining and at times a pain in the ass. Her care free lifestyle may be one of the reasons why Camryn has such a hard outer shell. She can’t afford to put up with another persons bullcrap. Melanie is a big handful.
Teague is one word… Delicious. I instantly fell for him.
Overall I enjoyed the writing style I like the way the relationship slowly progressed. I enjoyed the banter between all the characters. And I especially like the twist that came about as secrets are revealed. I look forward to reading more from this author!

My Ratings
Characters- Loved, strong heroine and a sexy cocky hero *Grins*
Writing Style- Good
Plot/Storyline- Enjoyable with a slow sexy build

Overall- I loved it!

This book had the perfect blend of sweet and sexy.....At first I was wondering.....hmmmmm Am I reading a mystery?? Because I was obviously missing something......then it all started to unravel.

TEAGUE.....extreme level of intrigue. I was halfway through the book and I still didn't have a visual or....what the mystery was surrounding him...all I know was please, please, please let me see him on the beach.....confident, dimpled, beautiful teal eyes...

or maybe this....

or even this.....

that would make me think this......

but I was wrong......cause this is the final visual..

WHICH AIN'T THAT BAD....NOTHING LIKE A Southern California Surfer ......
.....while I'm here shout out to my SoCal westie bestie Sarah <3333

ok...oh yeah that's right the book review.....

Camryn had a story too...She has vowed to never KISS unless she was in love....its kinda a long, heart-warming tragic story as to why....but again...I found myself thinking...WHY???...it wasn't told...it was revealed and I LOVED THIS APPROACH !

So needless to say there was sexual tension in beau-coup amounts...because of this no-kiss clause...I loved the build-up of the relationship and loved that it was founded on more than extreme LUST....this was a really sweet story! The characters were KICK ASS....and it kept me interested and I couldn't wait for that FIRST KISS and for all the yummy that comes with falling in love and can't getting enough of one another.

4 1/2 Kiss This Stars

Hadley Quinn’s Kiss This had all the ingredients I look for in a good romance novel. I would 100 % recommend this book as a good read it will leave a smile on your face.

The story had everything from FANTASTIC banter, HOT chemistry and a couple of SECRETS tossed in.

This book has two main characters that heated up the pages as well as a fantastic cast of supporting characters and one funny bird… Fucktard.

Camryn Jacobs was an amazing female lead.

description

Camryn was feisty, funny and loyal. Camryn never spent days on end eating tubs of ice cream. She was kickass big sister and a reader will enjoy her journey from moving on from the heartbreak of losing her fiance to embracing a new love that she literally runs into.

Teague McCallan (Inferno) was sexy, sweet and protective.

description

Teague captures Camryn’s heart, he goes for what he wants and a reader never questions this couples love for one another.

"You're better than a bet. What we decide together is what I want with you."
"Teague, if you keep saying shit like that I'm going to tie you up and never let you"

description

"I wanted to assure that the one thing I love more than anything was real."

As to whether or not secrets will interfere in a hea, well you’ll just have to click purchase and find out for yourself!

I want to thank Hadley for this awesome book. I was in love with it from the get go.

Teague and Camryn were both a little broken. They weren't looking for that special someone who could make them whole again. They both end up in Oregon and literally run in to each other. Things take off from there and quickly we are sucked in by their banter, sexy playful side, and feeling their way through a new friendship leading in to a relationship. They both have some "ghosts" in their past to work out and to do so they need to learn to let go, trust their hearts, trust in each other and let their love soar.

Teague- He was sexy, could be sweet and had a funny wit to him:
"Just know that I'd really love to know your name. In fact, I'd love to know more than just your name, but tonight I'll cross my fingers, wish upon a star, and pray that someday you'll just give me a name. Tomorrow I'll rub Buddha's belly, light a candle, do a juju dance around the fire...Sound like a good start?"

When he wanted something, something that was very well worth it, he made sure to fight for it. He really was Camryn's other half.
"So we have a deal? No matter how pissed you are with me, you always let me kiss you goodnight, Camryn. Always."

Camryn- She was a fresh breath of air. She had a backbone, thank heavens, and she wasn't afraid to show it. Don't mess with her...especially if you are the WRONG guy, you may come out with a few "scratches" some where on your body. She really was the perfect match for Teague. His other half. She could match him in the wit department and she was his silent support when needed. She was a very forgiving person. There were times when she would do something and I would think "No way would I have handled the situation that way." But no matter what, it always worked for this couple.

She was head over heels for Teague. Here's a conversation between her and her sister describing Teague:
"How hot?"
"Inferno."
"Holy crap," Melanie squealed. "Body?"
"Grade A."
"Eeeee!" She squealed. "Eyes?"
"Tropical Paradise."
"Wow," Melanie groaned. "Smile?"
"Mouth watering."
"Voice?"
Camryn had to pause as she closed her eyes. "Euphoric," she sighed."

Melanie and Jay, these two made me laugh towards the end of the book with their banter: "Forget the swear jar," Melanie rolled her eyes at Jay. "I'd go with an "I'm an A-hole" jar for you. I'd be able to take a vacation every month."

What I LOVED about this book:
1. The humor-I laughed quite a bit.
2. The butterflies I felt every time Teague and Camryn touched or kissed.
3. Teague and Camryn worked their problems out through thick and thin.
4. Jay. I thought he was going to be a bone head...wow was I wrong. He made me laugh and he was such a good guy.
5. The friendships & love the couple had with those around them that mattered.
6. Teague- he could be funny, sexy, charming, sweet...a bit alpha...
7. Camryn- she wasn't a weak woman. She had a good backbone. She was perfect for Teague.
8. The ENDING ( I totally had a smile on face during this chapter.)
9. I had a big smile on my face a lot of the book.
10. The emotions I felt with this book that arranged from happy, to ticked off, to sad and twice I cried.
11. This book sucked me in. I could barely put it down.
12. Once a couple ALWAYS a couple. LOVED that the most about this book.(There's a concept for you!) ;)

Jenny:
Well, I have to say Gitte, I really did enjoy Kiss This. We wanted something with romance, emotion, sizzling chemistry, a bit of mystery, a good storyline and characters that we could relate to, connect with and love…something to escape into for a while and didn’t this one just fit the bill!

“Your eyes,” he answered
He pressed his cheek to hers and whispered. “Because I can see your beautiful soul every time I look into them. I can’t even fucking comprehend how much they pull me in.” - Teague

Told in differing viewpoints I found this book touching, witty, sexy and an all-round enjoyable read. There were secrets aplenty which were revealed intermittently throughout the book, making me anticipate each one as it came to light.

I revelled in the banter, little quips and one liner’s and sarcastic wit between Camryn and Teague, and the secondary characters charmed me and leant so much to the story as well.

“Hmmm, well, I’m probably your typical guy. I like sports, cars and motorcycles, food, music and I especially like being a conceited asshole.” - Teague

Camryn and Teague really did make me smile one minute and have me reaching for the fan the next! Yup, these two completely sizzled and the sex scenes, yes they were hot, but they were interspersed with a humour, emotion and romance that completely melted me.

“Teague was the comfortable gentility that she needed; he had the patience and the tenderness that fit her perfectly.”

Yeah so Gitte, that scene in the rain….whoa!!! Hot!!! How did you feel about Kiss This?

Gitte: I LOVED this book.’ Kiss This’ has pretty much everything that keeps you reading not wanting to put it down. I was addicted from the start and fell in LOVE! It had fab characters; it was funny, sexy and emotional. An almost pretty perfect package…which leads me nicely onto Teague. I’m in love….again. Teague has now been added to the never-ending list of book boyfriends.

Anyway, back to the story. I thought this Author wrote a blinder; she had me all teary one minute then feeling warm and fuzzy the next. All the characters played a part and there was not one of them that got on my nerves or felt superfluous to the story.

Our main characters Teague and Camryn were bloody brilliant. Sarcastic humour, sensual and hot chemistry, both had heartbreak and emotional baggage that made them wary of relationships and the intentions of the other.

The way they meet; the build-up well I was hooked.

“…you ran those hundred yards to catch up with me? – Camryn

“I sprinted them. Fiercely. With determination. And passion.” – Teague

So yes, an absolutely bloody brilliant read that should be inhaled word for word. It had so many secrets and drama; but the fun banter and passion more than made up the difference. Oh and YES….the scene in the rain….HOT!!!!

Jenny: We meet Camryn our feisty, sexy, funny, heroine who really was so refreshing. Although still suffering over the loss of the love of her life, she is making an attempt to move on but has vowed to never kiss a man again unless she is in love with him. Although dealing with past heartbreak and having family issues that weight her down, Camryn was far from a simpering heroine. This girl could give anyone a run for their money. I found her completely honest, sexy, she spoke her mind, said how she felt and was so fierce and loyal as well.

“You know nothing about my fears,” - Camryn

And then there’s Teague. What can I say about Teague? I absolutely loved this guy! There was so much to this man. He was witty, loyal to a fault, patient, kind, tender with a beautiful heart, who could also be so fiery, possessive, secretive and oh so very cocky! His cockiness was endearing though because he possessed the ability to laugh at himself. Yup! I really LOVED him!

“Oh, and Camryn?” he said….”I don’t have a six-pack,” he smiled, shaking his head. “For you I have an eight-pack.”

I loved how he laid himself bare for Camryn. This woman really did bring him to his knees.

“This beautiful woman had become his entire world.”

Cam and Teague were drawn by some force. They both saw something in each other that could heal, they saw someone they could love and theirs was a connection you felt from the first moment they met. Theirs wasn’t an easy road and at there was a time there when facing their pasts had me in tears. These two were both somewhat damaged, had not been afforded the nurturing and family support and had suffered loss and heartache. Could they indeed give each other the love and happiness they both craved?

“It was a mutual surrendering of a little bit of body and a whole lot of soul…and it was only a first kiss.”

After going through so much in their pasts, trust was always going to be an issue for both but especially for Teague. He had deep rooted fears which caused him to mistrust many and trust very few. He had issues to deal with and secrets to carry, sharing them with Camryn was always going to be hard for Teague but little by little he learned to trust.

“Please can I just hold you for a minute?” he hardly whispered.
I loved this story. It had everything I could have wanted in a read and I was completely, drawn into and immersed in the story from the start. So why not 5.0 star rating? Well, there were a couple of instances I felt the story was a little drawn out and certain areas were somewhat repetitive, but as you can tell, this didn’t impact on my overall enjoyment of the story. I loved spending time with Camryn and Teague.

“You scare me, too,” he replied softly, taking her face in his hands. “But…I think if we face our fears together…it’ll be okay”

Watching their relationship grow and seeing them learn from each other, these two damaged people who found love when they least expected it completely captivated me. I loved their humor, their sarcastic banter, I shared their heartbreak and I shared their joy. I loved their journey and really, I just adored them! Can’t wait for Jay’s book in 2014!!! I will definitely be picking that one up! Did you just adore Cam and Teague too Gitte?

Gitte: Yes I really did Jenny. I absolutely loved Camryn; she was such a strong heroine. She was indeed feisty and protective, honest to a fault with proper backbone, she had a fab sense of humour and she loved with passion and heart. I found her character so refreshing and my kind of girl!

She’s not had an easy life and has been through absolute heartbreak of the worst kind. She is understandably hesitant and scared to let go which results in her making the rule of no kiss until she finds love.

“Camryn promised herself she wouldn’t kiss another man unless she was in love with him. She’d held firm to that rule and never had cause to waver from it. The desire hadn’t even entered a single part of her. Until now.”

Camryn and Teague have that tangible chemistry that had me riveted from the start where it all begins with a bet.

“New Year’s it is. You’ll be kissing me at midnight and you’ll never want to stop.” – Teague

“I’m betting you won’t even last until then.” – Camryn

Yay, time for my thoughts on Teague. I loved this guy. He was charmingly cocky. He was lush; absolutely gorgeous and so very sexy. He was spot on funny and passionately protective with a heart of pure gold. He was not a bastard; if anything he was the opposite and he was written so well that his decency and kindness sold him…helped by all the other yummy attributes of course! Oh and Teague has the gift of the gab. The things this guy comes out with…so sexy, romantic and smooth.

“Well I’m not like most guys.” – Teague

“No you’re not.” – Camryn

Yeah I agree with no hesitation Camryn!!!

No doubt; our Camryn and Teague carried so many open wounds from their past which still played out in the present making them feel as if they don’t really belong. Between them they carry the inability to fully trust another person, both carry heavy secrets and having always had to look after themselves they are fiercely independent.

“There’s not much of me to even have, Teague. You’ll learn that soon enough.” – Camryn

“Now that sounds like another challenge.” – Teague

“It’s not meant to be. It’s a disclaimer.” – Camryn

“Don’t we all come with one? I’ve got issues, too. I don’t let people get close to me, either. I’d rather keep my shit in the closet without feeling obligated to share just because I’ve been with a girl for more than a day.” – Teague

As I said earlier the connection between these two is intense; it’s as if they see beyond each other’s barriers and find a way to heal, pulling each other out of the past into the present ~ together. There’s no way they can voluntarily be kept apart.

“Did you get lost along the way?” – Camryn

“Nope. But if I ever do, I’ll always find my way back to you.”

Seriously loved this story and the journey Camryn and Teague took us on through the brilliant writing of this Author. This is without any doubt a must read for 2013!! Oh and YES Bring on Jay’s book I cannot wait!

Great story with all the necessary ingredients..loved the chemistry & the friendly banter.

Camryn was an exceptionally feisty chick, which made her a great match for Teague. We watch them grow and enjoy their obvious love from the beginning. Rooting for a HEA, I struggled to put this down, even though my attention was stretched this weekend!

Look forward to Jay's story next year..

“No you’re not.”
– Camryn

I’d rather keep my shit in the closet without feeling obligated to share just because I’ve been with a girl for more than a day.”
– Teague

As I said earlier the connection between these two is intense; it’s as if they see beyond each other’s barriers and find a way to heal, pulling each other out of the past into the present ~ together. There’s no way they can voluntarily be kept apart.

“Did you get lost along the way?” – Camryn

“Nope. But if I ever do, I’ll always find my way back to you.”

Seriously loved this story and the journey Camryn and Teague took us on through the brilliant writing of this Author. This is without any doubt a must read for 2013!! Oh and YES Bring on Jay’s book I cannot wait!

I tried hard to rate this book and I was hesitant to rate it 3 or 4 so I am giving it a 4 out of 3,5 and then I will try to express my mixed feelings about it...

Both characters, Camryn and Teage were adorable, I loved them both. Especially the heroine (I rarely like or love a heroine as they are either weak, or whiny or stupid in some way or other in romance novels). But Camryn was just perfect. I loved the banter between them, adored their chemistry and their relationship. They were so good together. The side characters, her sister Mel and his cousin Jay were also cute.

So what was my problem?

Well, our characters, Camry and Teague were crazy in love with each other and they were such a good match. So I waited for the big plot twist, some ugly truth to be revealed or some crazy drama to start or some nightmare to spoil it because we usually have a "happy end", not a "happy on all pages" kind of book and well, no, nothing big happened. There were one or two problems they quickly solved and they just went back to being too happy to be true. So, this was that kind of book in which both characters were utterly happy for the %90 of the book.

My problem?
Yeah, I am coming to it :))) Sorry for hemming and hawing...
As I said, it was a novel putting a big smile on a reader's face and I was happy all along. But I really would rather it were shorter because a novel with 370 pages requires definitely more action, more angst or something crazy to keep me interested in the story. So, I was sometimes bored of "being happy", to be honest... really :) I never thought I would say that but I was :)))

Yeap, I said it, bored of being happy, so go figure :)

****************************************

Now, I am leaving you to have fun with the conversation below... Yeap, they are "this cute" all the time :)

“So, Camryn ,” he said, emphasizing her name that time. “You weren’t even watching where you were going when you almost biffed it in the sand. What was in the water?”
She shook her head with a smile, but not because she wasn’t going to tell him. It was because she was going to tell him. “I was picturing you naked,” she stated.
He stopped dead in his tracks and she had to turn around to face him. His mouth was open in an “oh,” but then he smiled like he was sure she was just pulling his leg.
“I’m being serious,” she added. “I was picturing you naked.”
He pretended to cough his disbelief. “No way. Like I was just…standing there naked in the ocean?”
She had to laugh. “Yeah, pretty much.”
He laughed out loud as he clutched his stomach. “Oh my God, you totally rock my world.”
“Because I’ve pictured you naked?”
“Uh, pictured me naked, admitted it, and are totally embarrassed by it. I love it.”
“I’m not embarrassed. Can’t exactly control my thoughts sometimes.”
“Well holy fuck, and us guys get a bad rep because of the same thing?”
“Well I’d say it’s because guys are a little more vulgar when it comes to stuff like that. All I did was wonder if you have a six-pack and that’s it. You, on the other hand, have probably pictured me naked, pictured what you would do with me naked, and pictured what I could do for you naked. After all of that, you most likely felt a little bit turned on by it and—”
“Oh my God!” he yelled with a laugh, waving for her to stop. He doubled over with his hands propped on his knees, laughing his ass off. “Please tell me you’re for real. I’m not sure I can handle this if you’re not.”

Freaking Loved it!!

Theme song: Kiss This by Aaron Tippin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cc1G-...

A sweet love story between two people who have heartaches and deceit to overcome. I absofreakinglutely loved this book. Sweet, funny, witty banter, lots of laugh out loud moments, family drama, secrets, overcoming old heartaches, sweet and sexy bedroom scenes, great supporting characters, awesome writing, awesome editing, a great ending that didn't leave me hanging! Camryn was an awesome leading lady who didn't take crap from anyone (this shows since she got at least two punches in, one in the beginning to a douche bag and one at the end to a biotch!) I loved that she wasn't afraid to speak her mind and when things got rough she didn't run away, she confronted Teague and they talked about it. The one and only time she did need space, it was for one night and she admitted she should have stayed to talk. It was nice to see this couple work together to make things work and the drama in this book didn't come from them but rather surrounded them from family and other people and certain situations. Teague was a sweet guy with just the right touch of bad boy. He had a hard time trusting people after some of those dramatic people / situations (previously mentioned) but when he met Camryn he saw something in her that made him feel like he could start to learn to trust again. I liked that their romance wasn't one of insta love and it took time and they built on it. Yes, it was a shorter courtship but the way the author wrote it, the pace was very nicely done! I'll admit I was a little weary of the length and how the story would go being so long, but it totally worked. I seriously couldn't put it down. The funny thing was, I didn't want to read this at first. I only picked it up to buddy read with a friend for moral support. I ended up finishing it in two days and I'm pretty sure she decided to wait on it! LOL (Oh well, her loss ;)) This one is for sure going on my favorites shelf and I can't wait to see what else this author has in store!

Teague took the stick from her hand and drew a heart around their names. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and took a picture of it. "You tell anyone I did something that sappy, I'll throw you in the ocean to never be found."

This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. Interesting story, lovable (and sexy) characters with depth, a full-length story that progressed at the perfect rate (it didn't feel rushed and never was boring) and it was a complete story - no cliffhanger. We will get the treat of Jay's story - and hopefully glimpses into Teague and Camryn's lives. Hadley Quinn gave us wit, banter, passion, love, intrigue, a little angst, and hot scenes! I loved it all!!

Am looking for more Hadley Quinn's books! 5 kissy stars!

4.5 stars. Really liked this book. Made a change to have a feisty heroine, Camryn, rather than a soppy one. And Teague was fab. I kind of liked the beginning more than the end but I did like it and couldn't put it down. X

A new-to-me author with a great mix of everything I adore in a sexy contemporary romance. This one throws in a little taste of Hollywood as well. Fantastic flawed characters, along with some charm, wit and sizzle. Looking forward to Jay's story next.

Camryn was off limits to have another date including kissing with any guy, if it’s not serious. Until she met the adorable-hard to resist-Teague on the beach when she’s having a Christmas Holiday at her Mother’s place. Hot guy, sands, beach, it’s kinda tempting for her…well, after a couple of years of solitude, after Zach, her last boyfriend
.

Teague also had his own issues from his past, that he didn’t want anybody to know and interfere, until he met the gorgeous-sexy ass-dancer, Camryn.

The chemistry was there, since the first time they met. Camryn’s not a typical shy girl, she’s bold, brave and she’s boxing! Teague knew it after she made one guy knocked out for making her mad. Teague was there, and they became close after that night. Right after making a bet. She’s not kissing him for a week, and she will be on his bed if he lost the bet. Agreed!

I loved their interaction, the make out, the playful Teague and Camryn shared between them. I loved how over protective Teague to Camryn, even they’re barely know to each other. They’re perfect for each other on the holiday

....on the beach...

Until something’s came up…

Camryn leave without a single message for him, and he was pissed and upset. Not for long. This two were easily forgive each other. Camryn lost her fiancé two years ago, and never with any guy ever since. Except for Brandon, Zach’s brother.
Teague also had a secret and family issues with him. He had to deal with his family business and demand. Some surprises came up while they’re together.

It was not easy for Cami to cope with Teague's secret...
One secret revealed..
...another came up...
one revealed...
another fucked up secrets came up!

It was maddening for both of them...
and the secret Teague kept from Cami consumed me a lot! It was really gut wrenching stage when something's "unexpected" came up!
It was really a twist when .
I was, stare and can't put down on that stage...I was drowned, mad, disappointed to Teague...*sigh*

How could you not mad at someone when you telling him "everything" and he hold a biggest secret of his life?
Camryn wa so mad at Teague when she found out...but Teague finally can find a courage to tell Cami about everything...his dreams, his heartache, his past....

I loved how mature Cami facing with it, and how forgiven she was dealing with Teague's biggest secret, and how her love was so huge to hold her into their future.

I liked this one....it was a long read. And was a bit slow at times, but overall I liked both the heroine, Camryn, and the hero, Teague.

Camryn lost her fiance to the war. As a result, she has made a promise to herself that she'll be in love with the next boy that she kisses. And for two years, she has kept that promise. And then she meets Teague....

Teague has his own secrets and his own past. After a surfing accident, and in an effort to get away from it all, Teague heads out of town. There he meets Camryn, who is in town helping her mom. They have an instant attraction to each other. Camryn makes a bet that Teague can't go a week without kissing her. And so it all begins...

The story takes place over Christmas/New Years, with the bet ending on NYE. I really felt like there was great sexual chemistry between Camryn and Teague. The build-up was hot. Camryn ends up getting called out of town for work before the kiss can take place and leaves without telling Teague goodbye.

Teague tracks her down in California so that he can win the bet. But things really progress between them from this point forward. This is where the book started to pick up for me. There wasn't a lot of angst in this book, and no un-necessary drama which was nice. It was just two people falling in love, one moving on from a tragic past and one learning to trust again after being burned in the past.

Teague's secrets eventually come out but he and Camryn work through them together. This was a standalone, with a HEA. The banter between Camryn and Teague was funny and it had a pretty high steam factor, which was a plus! Overall I would recommend this read.

Yay! I really loved Camryn & Teague! She was independent and cool. He was sexy and a bit dangerous. Can I just say how refreshing it was to have a couple who was actually pretty damn good at communicating? There was one big issue that slowly unfolded, but kudos for a heroin who didn't jump to conclusions about rumors and heresay. She actually gave chances for an explanation. She handled it a lot better than I would have. Apologies if that is too spolier-y. The next book is a spinoff about Jay, but I'm slightly ambivalent to his story. I'm thinking it's obvious who the girl of interest will be and I don't know if I find her worthy.

so this book started off OK. But then it just started dragging on and on. i will admit i skimmed threw most of the 2nd part. I like the banter between Cam and Teague. But its like the author wanted to prolong the OMG moment and it just didn't do it for me.

I really liked Jay and Mel.

"I want to kiss you so bad it hurts."

There's SO much to say about this book but at the same time I can't to say much because it's just one of those books you HAVE to read to truly appreciate just how phenomenal it is.

From beginning to end it was just amazing and I had the biggest grin on my face. The characters were so funny, witty, sarcastic, natural, down to earth, and flat-out interesting! They all made me giggle and just laugh out loud through out most of the book. Leave it to Hadley Quinn to really develop not only the characters, but the plot and twist things up in the best, page turning way! I also absolutely loved the narration in this book! It helped me as a reader connect with ALL the characters.. even the "bad guys".

OK, so, about the story line..

Camryn has lost the love of her life and decided to not let just "any guy" kiss her. There's actually a very deep reason behind that, which of course, I won't say.. but just know that that scene in the book, broke my heart!!! Two years later after losing Zach, she finds herself in Oregon helping her flake of a mother deal with something and this is where she meets Teague, who's there trying to escape his own set of problems. And what problems he had!!!

Teague and Camryn have an AMAZING chemistry!!! They connect right off the bat. They make a bet in which Teague can't kiss Camryn for a week. Simple right?? WRONG!!!! Teague definitely knows how to make things interesting .... and steamy.. *wink*
"This isn't kissing you," he whispered, his breath and lips tickling her skin. "I'm just talking to you and happen to be very, very close to you."

"You smell good," he murmured. He brushed his lips along her skin, from her neck up to her ear, and then along her jaw. He pressed his cheek to hers and said, "Do you know how hard this is, not being able to melt against your mouth, suck on your lips, your tongue... You do know that, don't you."

Prepare to swoon while reading this book.. The way Teague treats Camryn?? He's very protective of her and just.. *sigh* I love Teague. They were just perfect for each other.. in every way. They learn to live again together... but of course not without a lot of things happening along the way.. like I said before.. leave it to Hadley Quinn to bring up little twists in the plot!
"Stay the fuck away from her. If you bother her again, you'll have me to deal with."

"My future is with you, Camryn. You're all I want. And I have so many things I want to share with you, to tell you, and I'm slowly learning to trust people again. Please be patient with me because I'm just an idiot that doesn't want to fuck this up with you."

"This is my problem. I don't need you in the middle of it." She could see him eyeing Jordan like he was waiting for another reason to kick his ass. "It became my problem when he called you a bitch the first time. Two times is grounds for hitting him so hard he shit his fucking pants."

"You are incredibly gorgeous," he whispered. "I've never met anyone whose inner beauty matched her outer beauty. It's overwhelming and absolutely mind-blowing."

"I want to be here with you. I need to be here with you," he said softly, kissing her mouth again. "You own me now Camryn Jacobs."

"I'll be making love to you until the sun comes up."
"It's supposed to rain all day tomorrow."
"Oh glory be to God, I hope so..."

This book really has it all.. great characters, romance, hot and swoony scenes, angst, funny and witty dialogue, page turning events.. I mean, really.. READ IT!
There's a lot of drama and a couple of "what the hell!!!" moments.

Can't write this review without mentioning Jay and Melanie!!! Jay - Teague's cousin and Melanie- Camryn's sister, sure add humor to the book!! and SQUEEEEEEEEEE Jay is getting his own book!! "Tame This" which will be out in 2014!!! Hey Hadley, will Melanie get her's too?? or will she be in Jay's?? hmmm.. LOL am I asking too much? I tend to do that hahaha :)

Ok soooo.. go buy this book!! really! I highly recommend it!

Oh and FYI... that ending?? LOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the book tittle?? soooo not what you think it is *wink*

I just added this to my TBR. It's about a girl who's ex was killed and since then has promised herself she wouldn't kiss anyone she didn't love. The hero is the first guy to make her want to disregard that rule and so she makes a bet not to kiss him for a week.... oh, and he has a secret! Looks good!

I've never laughed so hard, I almost peed my pants that's how entertaining this story is. Camryn is a character all on her own, "you mean the nine stupid flights of stairs?" She scoffed. "Yeah, I made them my bi***." Teague he's just a gentlemen in his own type of way, "whatever. I feel okay talking about a girl's a** but not her chest, okay?" He's such a funny guy, "well I kind of jumped out from behind the jeep to surprise you." She gave him a blank stare until he added, "I'm kidding. I didn't see you, either." He wants to be the only man in her life (which is sweet) "you'd have to quit, because there's no way in effing hell that I would ever let any guy see you like that. In fact, if your boy toy has it in his effed up head that he's getting in your pants when you get back, I'm gonna shove his di** down his own throat." So sweet guys really it is. Camryn is also a funny girl, "fine. But only if you win our bet. I'll add story time as a bonus as you lie on your half of the bed all by your naked self." Teague really doesn't have any patience either, "Jesus Christ, woman. I'm gonna jack myself off if you don't get with it." Typical man can't ever wait for the good stuff always impatient. Needless to say this book is a keeper and one I need to get in paperback, yes that's how much I enjoyed it.

Wow! I didn't expect to love this book!

I just finished reading this and decided to give a little review before I sleep. ^_^

It had me hooked from the first page and I had a hard time putting it down. The book is just plainly amazing!

Both characters are likeable that half way in the story, I couldn't help but fall in love with them.

Camryn is feisty and funny heroine...I can honestly say that I like her very much. I've been reading some hateful heroines lately that reading Camryn was a treat I've been craving for a long time. lol. She's just an awesome character. Teague is another likeable and lickable hero. lol. Sexy, kind and possessive and protective! I think his cockiness was darn adorable. lol.

“I love you more than my own life and I want to be with you permanently.”

Did I already say that I was addicted from the start and couldn't put it down?! Oh and did I already mentioned how much I love this book?! hehe. This story almost has everything, sweet, sexy, banters, hot chemistry and a little mystery thrown in it!

Overall, this is a must read! I highly recommend this book and will definitely read more from this author!

Now THAT was a GREAT story. I loved loved loved this book about two wonderfully funny, down-to-earth and amazing characters who have been through so much in their lives. Teague will absolutely melt your heart, he's such a sexy sweetheart, and Camryn...considering everything that she has been through and everything that she has to put up with in this book...is an incredibly strong and loyal character with a funny and witty personality. This story is simply amazing, entertaining, heart-melting, wonderful, funny, and romantic as HELL. And the sex...well, it's pretty panty-wetting to say the least. :) Great book!

This was a really good book. I really appreciated how we were able to see the struggles that both characters were going through and it made their breakthroughs that much sweeter.

I really loved how tough Camryn was. She took no shit from anyone and she laid it out in simple terms. And her boxing - so awesome.

The secrets of Camryn and Teague's past took awhile to be revealed and I wish the two characters communicated a lot better because they misunderstood too many things.

But overall I really enjoyed this novel and I'm glad I got a chance to read it.

The Bet

“You’d better think twice about this, beautiful. My terms might not be to your liking.”
“That’s what makes betting so risky. You win the bet I will pay up, whether I like it or not. So what is it you want?”
“You. In my bed.”

Her Past

“I can’t wait to kiss you again, Camryn. It’s all I think about sometimes. When I see you again, I’m gonna kiss you all night long. If I had to pick one last thing I could do before I die, it would be kissing you,” he smiled again.
“I love you so much, Cam. I can’t wait to marry you. You keep those guys away from those lips because they’re mine, got it? Your next kiss is gonna be from me and you’ll never forget it,”- Zach

Entertaining is the best word I could think of that could describe Kiss This. Despite the overly used mixture of boy-meets-girl, drama, secrets, and heartbreaks and of course lots of love in the air Kiss This is amazingly good and entertaining on its own.

Camryn has suffered a tragic loss and since then she closed herself to all romantic stuffs that includes men. She refuses to kiss another guy until she’s sure that she finally falls in love again. (I shed a tear or two knowing the reason behind this little rule of hers).
Camryn is all character on her own. It’s not always that I get sympathetic over girls like her but I simply like her. She’s too sweet and kind. I also like the fact that she has a strong back-bone to stand on her own and not letting anyone fool her around.

Inferno hot, grade-A body, tropical paradise eyes, mouthwatering smile and euphoric voice. The door is wide open now for Teague.
Teague is also suffering with what he's going to do with his own life. He’s trying to escape a life that his father and brother mapped out for him. Teague is such a gentleman.

From the simple flirting to the bet and to the time where the game changes these two never did irritate or made me roll my eyes. I simply love the relationship that they have for it progressed nicely and the chemistry they have since the first time they met was really evident. The main issue with this two people is not different from any other issues couples faced – Trust; such a small word with a huge and deep meaning. When faced with the secrets and mysteries it all boils down to that.

The supporting characters like Melanie (Camryn’s sister) and Jay and Kellie (Teague's cousins), they add a huge amount of entertainment and humor to the book. As for Teague's own family - that's where the complication originates. His father and brother are the source of all the drama and the complicated things.

The only thing that seems be off for me is the fact that there are times - mostly by the half of the book- that I feel a bit clueless about certain things. I was confused with all the secrets and mysteries that they have. I find myself asking a couple of things like – Why are they both leaving the city life? Why they both seem to be broken? What is really behind the mask they’re both wearing – its petty questions but the answers that I’m anticipating to arrived came out not right on cue where it was needed I guess. That thing said, it kind of hinder the smooth flow of the story for me.

In all, the story has its down but for most part it’s mostly up for me. It was along read yet I enjoyed every part of it. I'll sure be looking forward for Jay's story - which I know was coming up next.

REALLY liked this book!

LOVED Teague and Camryn! The way they met, the way they interact... Talk about chemistry. Everything about their relationship seems so natural. They are simply adorable together and a whole lot of beautiful. Their banter was so much fun and never felt forced. Teague and Camryn were truly meant to be together.

The "kiss bet" that brought them together was cute. I really enjoyed Teague's creativity in working around the rules of it. Those non-lip kisses made me melt into puddles of swoon.

Let's talk about Camryn. She is so kick-*ss! She's strong (mentally and physically), attractive, a talented dancer and loyal. The things that came out of her mouth... loved her honesty and how she actually told Teague what was on her mind, I mean, exactly what she was thinking. And her parrot, F***tard was hilarious!

Let's talk about Teague. I abso-LOVE him. Physically, he's best described through this conversation between Camryn and her sister, Melanie.

" 'Give me details, Cam. How hot?' "
'Inferno,' Camryn answered.
'Holy crap!' Melanie squealed. 'Body?'
'Grade A.'
'Eeeee!' she squealed again. 'Eyes?'
'Tropical paradise.'
'Wow,' Melanie groaned. 'Smile?'
'Mouth watering.'
'Voice?'
Euphoric,' she sighed.

So yea, he's swoon-worthy-ly hot. He's also confident, protective, very affectionate, an adrenaline-junkie and gives the best kisses.

BUT, I did have two main beefs with Teague... namely the secrets he kept from Camryn. (I'd much preferred that they'd been revealed BEFORE she got closer in proximity to him- that was my attempt to not spoil that part.) I can totally see why he had such trouble trusting people (because of his family and a past relationship) but I hate how Camryn was left in the dark for so long, especially when the names were mentioned by Teague's family members.

My only little gripe with the story is that sometimes I felt like I was missing out on things. Teague would leave to confront family members or say he was busy doing something. We're able to get a general idea of who he was talking to/what he was doing but I do love my deets. It's always nice to get both main characters perspective. Really though, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

I'm curious to see where things go with Melanie's "situation" and all of the men in her life. I'm excited to read the next book in the series, Tame This, which features her and Jay!
