One of my favorite Mangas. I was so happy when Abe seemed to be sharing much more of his feelings. He even explained why he couldn't become intimate. Because he would lose his Karate focus and his feelings and focus would only be on Akari. When they went on their field trip, Abe and Akari visited the university. She can tell his focus from that point on is not on her but going full in with Karate. My question is what about the entrance exam for Abe? And Akari is smart, where will she go?
I skipped to this volume thinking it was the end 😓 I’m not fond of this couple. I admire that they are sorta devoted to each other, but overall I can’t connect with either. Yae is too wishy washy and Abe is too pushy. There doesn’t seem to be a lot going on - I can finish a volume in 10 min, which is not a good sign.
I don’t particularly recommend, though I suppose it’s an ok brainless read.

Really starting to love the more mature, coming of age direction this series is going in. I think it's certainly changing as the characters age (in a good way) and is super refreshing to see. I do think series need to be understood as a whole, which can be hard with serializations as it takes longer to get through different arcs. For a manga I thought I'd hate, I genuinely have come to love this!
Chapters 41 - 44: I really enjoyed this volume and the school field trip and visit to the university that Abe wants to attend were fun. I look forward to reading what happens next in this series.
Chapter 41: Greatest Treasure Chapter 42: To Share It All Chapter 43: The Kyoto and Osaka Field Trip! Chapter 44: Serious
This is not for everyone, but I’m in a phase where I like reading about obsessive people in love. Stalkers? I know that I won’t care for this type of character in a couple months, so I’ll just enjoy the ride for right now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The love rivalry is over but we habe another troupe I hate in shojo manga, the dreaded the MFC has to improve her self to make her worth of the guy cause he is passionate about sports. Boohoo
But seeing Maibara on the train sign brought back memories for me , my time in Hikone was so idyllic.
