Sebenernya saya anti banget sama mangaka ini.... anti karena karyanya yang pernah kubaca dulu, How to Make a Prince sangat amat mengesalkan di berbagai sisi.

Rasanya pengen begini
description

Oke, balik ke topik. Saya mencoba untuk membaca judul ini karena:
2. Temanku bilang bagus.

Tapi setelah dibaca sampai akhir buku 1,,, Cukup! Cukup!

3.5 rounded up! With the premise being shojo Kakegurui I was immediately in. It's more juvenile with its setup though. It also seems to focus more on the pettiness of rich kids and really plays into that especially with the first round of the money game being glorified gossip about whether two people ended up dating. I don't mind it though I fear it might end up a bit too juvenile and unserious for my liking. But I'm cautiously optimistic!

I love this, seriously love it. I don't care if it has similarities to Liar Game, I love this one.

So I've finally finished this series, and I have to say, it's completely different to what it has been compared to. I'm a bit sad that it didn't go further than 11 chapters, but nonetheless, it was fun!

The Plot
Sachi has always been known for her gorgeous amber-colored hair that she inherited from her mother. She has a happy enough life, except for the fact that her mother is dead, which she keeps a secret. But when her family goes bankrupt and forced into playing "The Money Game" to pay off her debts everything becomes much more complicated.

The Characters
Sachi is your average won't be trodden down female protagonist. She kind of reminds me of Tohru from Fruits Basket, Volume 01.
Leon is the male protagonist.
Aki, the main contender of the million girl game. She's interesting too!

The Setting
Japan.

Writing/Artwork
I feel that the plotline was pretty ordinary. I was looking forward to more tricks and dramas and whatnot, since it ended to fast, but still, I liked it. The writing was good. The story was interesting. The Artwork, is the kind of artwork that I really like. I really enjoyed it!

Overall
For a quick read, this is fun. It also has a very interesting twist at the end!

Kinda adorable. Still going on, so will have to read on to see if its decent.

Basically, this is about a buncha rich high schoolers who go to a prestigious high school and decide that school is too dumb for them to waste time on, and instead make up this super-high stakes gambling game known collectively as the "Money Game". And poor Sachi, the main character, has somehow gotten into deep debt and owes one MILLION yen (or something like that; I'll confirm later) to some hotshot. So she, having no money, cuts off her beautiful amber colored hair to receive the entry level money to participate in the Money Game, introduced by a male mystery hotshot whom I suspect heavily of becoming the love interest.

Its simple, its cute, and its kinda boring. Like, le gasp! That dude just put down 5000 yen! He's so arrogant! Can this girl who's really poor afford to put down more? :/ Very dramatic, and stuffed with sensational gambling skillz. Gets very repetitive after awhile.
