Why

Argh! Why, why would you take the life & writings of an articulate, passionate women & water them down to she went here & studied, then she went there & founded a covenant? Why water down her writings to a few sappy words & ignore her writings about women in religious life & her passionate exchanges with John de la Croix?

I realize that this is only 75 pages but honestly. Bleah!

This book has a biography of Saint Theresa, with references to her autobiography, "Life " and some synopsis or overview of her other books. She is mostly known for her devout life and her greatest desire to experience God.

She established several nunneries or monasteries, under particular ascetic orders and continued to do so until her death.

It also has Catholic prayers to her as a saint as well as prayers that Theresa wrote.
