I really enjoyed this book. It explained 15 important scientific theories, from Copernicus's theory of the solar system, to Einstein's theory of relativity. It put each theory in the context of a biographical sketch of its author. It should be read in historical context, since some of the science has been rejected in light of modern discovery. But, it gives the basis on which modern science has been built.

I found this book in my grandmothers house. It was her fathers. I read it once, and the pages started falling apart. I tried my best to keep
The book together, but I was afraid to read it again and destroy it completely. It was almost 30 years ago, but I remember enjoying it enough that I had been searching for it since. I just found one and ordered it from amazon third party used book dealer. Maybe I will re review when it comes in and I read it again :)
