I love her work. There's a number of pieces in here with nothing hidden in them. I do love finding the secret hidden things in her work and the stunning visual analogies she draws and is reknowned for. But I absolutely love her very straightforward paintings also. Her love of nature and beauty and attention to detail is awe-inspiring in them. There's one of a coyote watching a turtle that is very wonderful. I highly recommend this book for adults and children.

Charming. Fun, informative, and accessible for readers of every age. Bev Doolittle was a huge part of my childhood, and I'm happy to see she survived into the 21st century.
