Jealousy creeps in, twisting her thoughts down dark paths. Yang Sooyi slowly loses her grip on sanity as loneliness grips her. Lost in sorrow, she finds herself alone at the worst possible time.

Promises and Hyacinths is a narrative poem following the lives of one ordinary couple as the illusion of their perfect marriage crumbles around them, forcing both to make desperate choices from which there can be no return.

I don’t even know where to begin. Drama, romance, narrative poem. It is beautifully written and kept me interested. The ending was a huge unexpected twist! Please check these TW: depression, self harm, and violence etc.
