In the near future, Adelle ?Del? Summers is a young nurse for NASA in Florida one day, and a survivor of an alien invasion the next. Somehow unaffected by the mind control techniques that turn others into automatons, Del must try to adapt, overcome her fears, and find a way to maintain her individuality and survive in a world that will never be the same. Finding a way out, or through, her private hell on earth will tax her skill, heart, and mental abilities to their limits.
