This is a story about two sea turtles who love their life underwater, but have different tastes in food. Gary likes algae, but Harry prefers jellyfish. Harry mistakes a plastic bag for a jellyfish and gets into trouble. So let the students see how Gary helps Harry solve his problem, and what challenges they often face in the deep blue sea. It is story-based but also covers a huge problem we have in the world, which is littering and it goes into an explanation of what will happen to ocean animals like Gary & Harry the sea turtles if everyone threw their trash into the water which is very informational learning at a young age and can help solve social problems at such a young age.
I love this book. The illustrations are wonderful and the turtles are so cute. Plus, you learn about trash and what to do with it from the turtles since they find trash in the ocean. Great book to use for a Recycling Unit for preschoolers.
Cute, short story with an ecological message and cool sea turtles. What can be better than that? It's a fun tale with great illustrations. We enjoyed reading this book together.
