Can Aki and Tomoharu be more perfect?! This volume was everything and I don’t know where to begin because my inner fangirl is screaming with joy!

In the first half of this volume, Ryou, a cousin from Aki, comes all the way from Hawaii so our yakuza-idol fulfills his promise: to have sex with Ryou if he gets taller than him by the time he’s 20. Now, crazy as it is, Aki did sign a paper like that, but he’s dating Tomoharu, you see? So there’s no way in hell he’s gonna have sex with another man!

Still, Ryou is persistent and Tomoharu can’t just stay with his arms crossed, watching another man grope his lover. So, with Tako’s help, he disguises as a yakuza. AND HOLY SHIT, HE LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING AS A YAJUZA!!! Ueda pretends to be an important member of the Gotouda group and since he already has Akira-san and Miyavi-san’s blessing, he doesn’t let Aki go that easily. Once again he proves that he’s the only man that loves Aki just as fiercely as he loves him back.

In the second half, Aki turns 25 y/o and even though he doesn’t like to celebrate his own birthday, he plans to go on a date with Tomoharu. But, as you can imagine, things don’t go as planned. The police man kind of has a magnet to accidents and since he can’t ignore where help is needed, he provides his services, just like any good cop would do.

Now, his date with Aki doesn’t go like they wanted to, but they do have a lovey-dovey time! And Tomoharu is so fucking cute and adorable, that he gives Aki a ring while they’re having sex! Please, stop being so fucking perfect!!!! My heart can’t take it, god damn it!!!

I laughed, I cried, I made weird noises because this book was just too perfect. There’s nothing I didn’t love about this. I have a serious crush on Tomoharu and it makes me mad but I just can’t help it! Truth be told, I always fall for guys like him, and I wish I had someone like him IRL. Why is it so hard to find honest, good guys out there? I don’t really know, but at least we have them on fiction!

Anyway, Aki is so damn lucky to have Tomoharu by his side and I’m completely invested in this story that I just can’t wait to read the next volume!

Després de llegir Toritan: Birds of a Feather, Vol. 1 i お参りですよ Omairi desu yo volia provar amb una altra sèrie llargueta de la mangaka. Clarament les seves il·lustracions són una monada amb grans dosis d'erotisme, així com els personatges tan estereotipats que fa són adorables i molt carismàtics, però es nota que són històries serialitzades en molts volums. La trama avança gràcies a conflictes que són un clixé i sovint sembla que s'està allargant el xiclet sense arribar a enlloc, com un serial de tarda de TV3 ^^' En aquest cas, però, es percep més sensació de progrés perquè hi ha més personatges secundaris i tots tenen un arc narratiu en la trama principal. Molt amena i cuqui, amb unes parelles TOP, però de vegades un pèl monòtona ♥

I always love how organic Aki’s and Ueda’s relationship feels, like, they do communicate and this seriously makes me wonder what the hell I consume cuz I find this amazing and cute when it should be the norm among couples, right?

Anyway, here appears Ryou, a guy who at 16’s made a pact with Aki that if he got taller, he could screw (lol) Aki, but he doesn’t want to cuz he has Ueda. And, honestly, same.

So here we see Ueda wearing a three-pieces suit, yessss.
And being a badass, yessss.
Shoutout to Tako for always being there suporting this power-couple and giving them the best looks always.

J’aime beaucoup ce couple, ils sont drôles, attachants et j’adore le fait que, malgré qu’Aki soit un Yakusa, il soit mignon et n’est pas trop la mentalité d’un futur chef de clan. Et comme d’habitude, leurs plans ne se passent jamais comme prévus, juste trop comique les situations dans lesquelles ils se retrouvent. J’ai encore passé un bon moment en leur compagnie.

Ueda’yı yakuza kılığında görmek muazzamdı! Bir polis memurunun sevdiği için bu hallere düşmesi mi? En sevdiğim. Ayrıca Aki’nin annesinin Ueda’nın yakuza kılığını duvar kağıdı yapmak istemesi? Alfa hareket, takdir ettim. Çok komik ciltti yine. Bolca güldürdüğü için buradan yazara/çizere selam olsun.

Ο 5ος τόμος της σειράς είναι ένας από τους αγαπημένους μου. Ειλικρινά, δεν έχω λόγια! Πρώτα απ' όλα, μας επιτρέπει να δούμε την "σκληρή" πλευρά του Tomoharu. Τι εννοώ με αυτό; Όταν ένας πιτσιρικάς από το παρελθόν του Aki εμφανίζεται και του ζητάει να εκπληρώσει την υπόσχεση που του είχε δώσει, πως θα κάνουν σεξ αν τον ξεπεράσει σε ύψος, τα πράγματα για τον τελευταίο φαντάζουν σκούρα. Προφανώς και δεν έχει καμία πρόθεση να εκπληρώσει μια τόσο ηλίθια υπόσχεση που είχε δώσει σ' έναν έφηβο κάποτε. Από την άλλη μεριά, προφανώς, ο πιτσιρικάς είναι αποφασισμένος να πάρει αυτό που δικαιούται. Έτσι, υπό την προτροπή του παρατρεχάμενου του Aki, και δεδομένου ότι η σωματική ακεραιότητα του τελευταίου έχει αρχίσει ν' απειλείται χωρίς καν ο ίδιος να το καταλαβαίνει, ο Tomoharu δέχεται να υποκριθεί πως είναι μέλος της yakuja το οποίο, μάλιστα, ο πατέρας του Aki αποδέχεται ως σύντροφο του γιου του. Ο πιτσιρικάς υποχωρεί ως προς την δέσμευση του Aki απέναντί του και αποφασίζει να τον διεκδικήσει στα ίσα. Αυτό φέρνει δύο τινά. Το πρώτο και κυριότερο, είναι το ότι βλέπουμε μια ολοκληρωμένη badass εκδοχή του Tomoharu την οποία γουστάρουμε τρελά, καθώς για μια ακόμα φορά επιβεβαιώνεται πως ο καθένας από εμάς κρύβει μέσα του περισσότερες από μία προσωπικότητες, υιοθετώντας την κατάλληλη ανάλογα με τις περιστάσεις. Δεύτερον, κακά τα ψέματα, είναι διασκεδαστικό να βλέπεις τις αντιδράσεις του Aki, αλλά και τις αλληλεπιδράσεις που φέρνουν αλλαγές όπως αυτή. Σε δεύτερη φάση, η συνέχεια της ιστορίας στο τεύχος αυτό ακολουθεί μια πιο ρομαντική προσέγγιση. Ο Aki έχει τα γενέθλιά του, οπότε εμείς απολαμβάνουμε το super cute στυλάκι του προς χάριν της ημέρας, και παρά που αυτή δεν εξελίσσεται όπως περίμενε το ευτυχές ζεύγος μας, τελειώνει με την καλύτερη δυνατή κατάληξη η οποία, σημασιολογικά στον κόσμο των bl novels, σημαίνει περισσότερα απ' όσα αφήνει η εικόνα να εννοηθούν. Σαφέστατα και παρατηρούμε βελτίωση στο σχέδιο, το οποίο προσωπικά αγαπώ ιδιαίτερα, ενώ όσο τα γεγονότα προχωράνε, οι καυτές σκηνές του manga γίνονται ακόμα περισσότερες και πολύ πιο έντονες και σέξι, διατηρώντας σε αρκετά μεγάλο βαθμό την "σεμνοτυφία" τους, αν και θα μπορούσαμε να ισχυριστούμε πως οφείλεται σε μια προσπάθεια να οργιάσει η φαντασία μας. Κι αν ισχύει το τελευταίο, η δημιουργός πετυχαίνει τον στόχο της. 4 τα βασικά κεφάλαια του τεύχους, λοιπόν, και δύο τα extraδάκια του, τα οποία σας υπόσχομαι πως θα σας κάνουν να γελάσετε και όχι μόνο.

Aki doesn't think things through sometimes. Aki promised a 16-year-old, Ryou, that when he turned 20 he could sleep with him, Aki even signed a contract. Now, Aki is doing everything he can to stop him. It leads to Tomoharu taking measures, mainly pretending to be a Yakuza Member, and I love Aki's reaction. We also see them celebrate Aki's 25th birthday, but as you may guess, not everything goes to plan. I loved what Tomoharu got for Aki; it made him so happy!

This is perhaps the best volume so far. Seems to revolve more around the concept of the underground world than just a normal cliche fluff relationship.
