I live with my partner and daughter on the sunny south east coast of England.

I have always had a vivid imagination and have been writing since I was thirteen years old.

I am now a self-published author of the Cursed Trilogy and I’m also a Bid & Project Manager for an IT Company.

I have always had a passion for writing, however my pursuit began after a story assignment during school. I completed my first story when I was fourteen and after lending it to friends I received good feedback.

However at the time I wrote only in notebooks and on paper and as a result that copy was lost. This story has been rewritten and is my ‘It’s Complicated’ title listed below.
My inspirations and imagination surprises even myself sometimes when story ideas fly in from every direction. I definitely have a lot of books coming your way in the future.

I love to hear from readers so please do get in touch.

Happy Reading!

You very rarely get to read anything that lives in your own back garden anymore, or even the excitement of places you've been yourself. As a child I went to Dartmoor allot, it's awesome how Georgina has captured this and brought it so much more life than it actually has by bring myths and Legends to life within it. And Dartmoor is an amazing place to visit, so full of wonder and captivating scenery, and Georgina has brought so much to it in her writing.
I love the story line from the get go, was carried on throughout without stop when I started it last night! Haven't been able to put it down until this very moment when I came to write this review.

5 Stars, 10/10, 100% excited for the next installment (Obsession).

I don't feel that this book should solely be aimed at Teenagers because myself and my sister enjoyed this very much. It has a cute puppy-dog love theme to it and the innocence is lovely, it's beautiful to read. Daisy is such a pipperoo!

I received this ebook for an honest review, my opinions are my own.

This is a very suspenseful read!
I usually can't handle a whole lot of scary, believe it or not I still get afraid of the dark!
This one, has enough of a love story pull to offset the too scary part for me.
If you love a good scare based on local lore, this is a must read for you!
Due to the mature content of the book, it shouldn't be read by younger readers.
The story follows a set of 4 friends as they go on holiday after school. They are there for some R&R but they end up learning first hand about the local legends and the danger of the paranormal.
The romance between the characters is also pained by the activity on the area and we really wonder if they can put aside their fear to allow love to grow!
There are a couple of scenes that made me want to hide under the covers! Absolutely scary since it was based on real legends. A great read!
Don't read it in the dark!!

Cursed
Cursed Series #1

YA Horror / Romance. If you enjoy being given goose bumps then you’ll love this book, I had to actually stop reading half way through and continue in daylight ~ in my defence I started at midnight one night and everyone else in the house was asleep so my imagination had free reign to play all kinds of tricks! Whether you know anything about Dartmoor or not, this book is thoroughly enjoyable, and scary - I’m not sure I ever want to stay in a cottage in Dartmoor now. Well written and nicely paced with characters which are believable, the book has a realistic aspect which just ups the horror level. I can’t wait to read more of Daisy’s story, and see what will happen to the poor girl next.

I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

When four newly graduated teens take a 2 week vacation before university, they never dreamed they would be stepping into one of the fairytales from their childhood. From mystical beasts to have trapped.in.purgatory, this book leaves you with an eerie feel.
I enjoyed thks book a lot, the only thing I would have liked to see a little more interaction between the ghost and Daisy . I think that is coming in boon two. Overall a very solid entertaining read.

Nowadays you rarely find a good story to read, with such a thrill. Georgina Hannan made this story made this story incredible, it made me think how amazing could it be to visit all the places from the book. I loved the story from the start and I couldn't put down the book! I’m glad I had the chance to read it! She knows how to write, how to make you pay attention to every detail and to live with the characters at the same time. It was thrilling!
This story gave me goose bumps, it was pretty scary at one point, but very enjoyable! It made feel the story was realistic, especially with all the legends and the myths!
Daisy, Alice, Jake and Tyler decided to spend their two week holiday in Dartmoor. The first day they arrived there, they feel like someone is watching them. All four of them go into town, but they end up listening to Frank, the owner of The Plum Feathers Inn, to four scary legends. They started being scared, and if that wasn't enough, the first night spend in the house they hear a lot of creepy noises. This four will come to face a few of these urban legends, even if they don’t like it!
This book kept me guessing the entire time! Give it a chance and you wont regret it! Can’t wait to read Obsession, I hope to find out a lot more about Daisy. I recommend this book!

"Cursed" by Georgina Hannan is a scary story for young adults.
Four teenagers spend a few days in Dartmoor, an area in Southern England that has its history and share of murder and horror.
While two of the four are already a couple, the second two have also feelings for each other.
The holiday is however not so much about the romance but about the scary stories they are being told and mostly about the eerie and spooky experiences they make themselves during their stay.
It was refreshing to read about these sweet and rather well behaved teenagers and their strange adventures in Dartmoor.
Well written, scary and very enjoyable.

This book was great. It was easy to follow and had a good story line. The historical references were correct and helped draw the reader in. Once I started reading i struggled to stop until the end.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the trilogy.

Cursed is a great beginning to this trilogy which young adult readers (I’d say 14yrs+) and adults can enjoy. The main character, Daisy, is travelling with her best friend, Alice, Alice’s boyfriend, Jake, and Tyler who is a close friend to them all. After arriving at the house they are to be staying in for their holiday it becomes quite clear that there is more than meets the eye with a possible figure in one of the room’s windows, noises around the house that sometimes sound like crying and the door to the spare room is found open after it has been closed. Could it have been one of the friends, are the noises just the wind, is it just their imagination, or is there something more sinister going on?

Cursed has quite an eerie feel to it, which I absolutely loved. These types of horror are my favourite, as well as being ghostly and unexplainable it creates a psychological feel to it as the characters question whether events are real or not. To really capture the feel for the place where the group are staying, and the surrounding area, the group enter the local pub and speak to Frank. Frank spends many an hour going through some of the myths and strange happenings around the area. Although listening intently, the gang do have their reservations and wonder just how true some of it is. But, as the story continues it becomes clearer that there certainly are at least some elements of truth to what they are being told. Some of the details Frank gives them provides them with an awareness of the possibility of what could be happening when they find themselves experiencing these strange happenings.

Daisy is the focal character and experiences the most, which does make her question whether or not she should tell the others just in case they ridicule her or believe that it is just her imagination. (Jake would have certainly taken this approach as he thinks scientifically and believes that there is an explanation for everything, although his belief waivers at times!) But, the figure of Lady Howard who seems to be haunting the house is wanting the attention of Daisy in particular. At the same time as trying to cope with these ghostly encounters, Daisy and Tyler reach a point where their relationship becomes a little more intimate and they enjoy a little romance. But as the holiday wears on Daisy begins to question whether this romance will continue once the holiday is over, or is it just a holiday fling?

The storyline and the characters come across very well. The reader can connect with them and easily get sucked in by the horrors. I did feel that at the very beginning of the story there could have been a little more build up to create more of an atmosphere, but then again as it is a story to engage young adults this may have been intentional by the author. The plotline is written clearly and therefore easy to follow, although at times I felt it could have flowed a little smoother. It is also packed with historical information of the Dartmoor area, with Alice enjoying being a tour guide for the gang and takes them and the reader through some of the nearby towns and their ancient buildings, such as churches, castles, etc.

Cursed left me wanting to read Book 2 of the trilogy, Obsession, as I wanted to find out how the group’s holiday affected them when they returned home, in particular how it affected Daisy. And I have to say that Obsession was an absolute brilliant read that did not disappoint. (Please see below for my review of Obsession.)

Different and interesting

Cursed by Georgina Hannan is about a group of teenagers that go off on their first adult-free vacation. While playing tourists, they learn about legends that surround an old historic town, the exact town in which they are staying at. At first, the group believes the stories are just myths, until they begin to experience each legend, one by one. The story overall is different and interesting. I enjoyed it, which is why I give it four stars. I took away one star, because I feel the paranormal scenes could have been more developed and made longer, to prolong the readers’ excitement. I also feel, for eighteen year olds, some of their behavior/thoughts were a bit juvenile. Then again, they are only teenagers, so I may be wrong to think they should be more mature. Otherwise, a good first book.

Okay, so I rate this book a one star out of 5.
I had high hopes for this book because it sounded interesting & within the first chapter you learn all kinds of interesting & scary myths associated with the town the group of friends are staying in. However, this book was just well, boring. The characters are flat, the plot is confusing, there seems to be no real rhyme or reason to the story.
The only action comes at the end & when I expected some big reveal there was none. I had to force myself to finish this book & that annoyed me.
Don't get me wrong, it has real potential, but as of right now I can't say I recommend it.

Four friends decide to take a vacation together and do a little touring. They wind up in a town full of ghost stories that may or may not be true. This is a great paranormal read, you easily fall into the story line and characters. At times I felt like I was reading a travel guide book, but I really enjoyed this spooky read. WaAR
