Aggie has done what no mental health therapist should do. She's fallen in love with her mysterious client, Bill. Aggie has recently purchased an old Victorian house on a hillside overlooking Commencement Bay in Tacoma, Washington; where she finds an old photograph of a Victorian era couple and a love letter written in 1885. The letter speaks of another love that can never be-that of Louise, the daughter of a wealthy English family, and her Irish lover, William. Heartbroken, Aggie soon begins to dream of the forbidden love between Louise and William, but in her dreams, William's face mirrors that of her beloved, Bill. Bill is in love with Aggie, and he can't figure out how to get close to her. If only he hadn't entered her professional doors as a client. How is he going to fix this?
I've been writing romance fiction since 2006 and have published 20 books. I write time travel romances, contemporary romances, romantic suspense, and light paranormal romances (lovelorn ghosty stuff).
A gypsy at heart, I've lived in Aruba, Venezuela, Arizona and California (thanks to my parents, and in Guam, Wyoming, Washington State, Belgium, Washington D.C., Maryland, Montana, Turkey and Alaska (thanks to my time in the U.S. Air Force. Since then, I've lived in Idaho, Nebraska and Alabama in addition to visiting many more countries and states, and I'm determined to Goodreads friend everyone from all those places plus many more!
This is the best book I've read in a long time. It continues to haunt me at the most interesting times. I love the old Victoria houses, the flash backs and the couple finding out they were meant for each other even through time. The last page left me saddned that the wonderful story was over.
Time travel? No. Ghosts? No. Memories? No. Dreams? Yes, but why. To bring two descendants together who were not their reincarnation, but who simply looked like them. The story line was ridiculous and basically I felt the book was poorly written and redundant. Sorry.
I loved this book. Finally an author whom can actually write a lovely love story. I loved how the book kept me guessing, and wanting to know more about the past and present love stories happening. I could not put this book down! I love the Victorian era. Best book I've read in awhile. And I read A LOT of books!
I was grabbed by my lapels then dragged into this story. I couldn't put it down 'til I finished it. What a truly wonderful story. Kudos to the author. Thank you for a very great read.
This was slow to start but it had a lot to build so you could fully know and understand all the characters. But then I truly enjoyed how it turned around to the final ending. Good story....
