She began adapting haute cuisine to strict dietary standards when her husband's coronary problems demanded a new culinary approach. Formerly Director of the Pritikin Longevity Center cooking School, she now runs a private dietary consulting service in Los Angeles, California, where she lives with her husband and two children.
