Even more delightful than expected! A great origin story for the Animal Rescue Squad!

First of all, I love that Eliza plays the tuba! Starting the book with her practicing the tuba immediately endeared me to her, and I only liked her more from there. I think I would have been great friends with all the girls and that must be why I kept this book. It’s a lovely blend of mystery, action, and suspense. The girls and the little troublemaker of a kitten, Sebastian, get up to some hilarious escapades, such as attacking rose bushes, inventing killer fudge, and going rock climbing in a storm. It’s anyone’s guess who did what! :)
