Robberies #1

Robberies

Rate this book
Tara's life was dull to say the least. One day, while working her fast food job, a handsome stranger walks in. She finds herself doing something spontaneous with him only to have it backfire when, moments later, he comes back and robs the store.

He takes her as his hostage. Tara is forced into a life unlike anything she could imagine. She is dragged from place to place, pushed to the verge of madness. She wonders if there is any escape from this obsessive robber and company. To survive, she must cling to everything she can before he steals it all away.

Leona Keyoko Pink originally started writing fan fiction. Her stories weren't necessarily fluffy or sweet. She felt drawn to love triangles, angsty good boy, bad boy damsel in distress, and more.

Through many years she worked on fan fiction as well as stories of her own. She was surprised by the feedback, and decided to pursue her love as her career.

Since then, Leona has enjoyed writing erotica in almost every genre possible.

Yuck...
This book is disgusting. I started reading this only because I have read other books by this author.
But man I was mistaken. This is trash.
There’s no warning about FMF scenes. The so called robber guy kidnaps a girl while already having a girlfriend of sort. And then he tries to force her into having a threesome. Ew...
Disgusting books.

I had to change my rating on this. This book has been on my mind ever since I read it. It's about a waitress who is seen walking to work by a psycho sicko named Entin. He decides to rob the diner and along with his girlfriend Una, (think Natural Born Killers type couple) abducts the waitress, Tara. He holds her captive for all kinds of kinky desires and I mean kinky bdsm crazypants stuff. I don't even like the BDSM genre but this is more a thriller because there are no safe words or consent for that matter. This is disturbing, wacky and OTT crazy. There are editing issues but I honestly love this author. She's got balls. Please don't read this if you are easily triggered because I can tell for some this would not be a safe read. For you all who like the dark reads by all means give it a try. The editing is a problem but it gets better as you go through the series. I'm one who can put editing aside if the story is interesting. Robberies is Tarantino-esque but with it's on style in itself. If you like Tarantino you just might like this. This is one of the craziest series, if not the craziest I have ever read and it just gets more so as you go. I'm very much on the hook for the series because I badly want to see some revenge for all the hell Tara goes through. Yeah this isn't romance folks so if you're looking for that um, you're in the wrong place.

This book was total crap. I was hoping for a book with an actual plot but really this book is just porn. After yet another disgusting rape scene with no depth, point, or purpose, I was done. Wish I could get that money back to spend on a real book!

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was dark, but that just made me want to see it through to the end even more. It made me crave a happy ending for all involved (the good guys anyway!)

This book is one of my favorites. It came up as a suggestion so I took a chance, and it is exactly what I look for in a book of this genre. Tara's character is the perfect type for this story. She knows there isn't a lot she can do verbally or physically, so, she just waits for opportunities to get away. Every now and then she has a defiant moment, that she always pays for later. The author gives Tara chances of escape, only to be hunted down by Entin again. I like how I always have the feeling of hope for her, thinking one of these times, she'll get away for good. Unlike some books in this category, where the female lead is subjected to constant abuse, and it never ends. Also, Entin has this odd obsession with Tara, I like the little quirks with their relationship. He treats her terribly for days and days, then every now and then he will treat her as if she's a fragile doll... I was very excited to discover this book had a sequel in Taken (Robberies Sequel). It keeps it going...

This story started out strong, but by the end of the book, it kind of dragged on. I liked Entin, and felt myself pulling for him to win Tara over, but then he started beating her and breaking bones, and it kind of fell apart for me after that. The price for this book can't be beat, but I've had enough of the characters. I think I will skip book 2.

The book had some miss spelled words but overall I liked it. At first I felt off since it was about being taken and well forced to have sex but I thought it was a good book. Can't wait to read next one
