"What happens in Silver Creek, stays in Silver Creek."

After spending the summer as a recluse due to a bad break-up, Nicole Saunders agrees to go to The Heat Wave Festival with her best friends, Kacey and Tyler.

Along with three other friends they plan to take a shortcut through the small town of Silver Creek; the last thing any of them expected was to become lost and end up pulling in to a motel for the night.

The Creek Motel is isolated and the last place Nicole wants to be, especially after meeting the glacial owner, but her discomfort is soon forgot as she finally gives in to her feelings and asks Kacey and Tyler to spend the night with her.

A decision she quickly regrets when she discovers that their friend has mysteriously disappeared from her locked room in the middle of the night. Worried, Nicole presumes the worst, but quickly discovers that Jayne's disappearance is more disturbing than any of them could have guessed.

Creak is $1 on kindle and completely worth your time. It's short at less than 100 pages, but it is perfect if you're in the mood for something creepy and sexy at the same time. About half way in, you will see exactly where this is going, but the initial buildup of atmosphere and suspense along with the intriguing relationship between Nicole and her two male friends will keep you on edge.

None of the characters are given enough time to be fully developed but their relationships, dialogue, and motives efficiently fill in the blanks enough for you to care about following their story. The shame is that the author chose to keep this to novella length, when I think she could have easily expanded the chapters and suspenseful, quiet moments into a full length horror tale. It works as it is, but there is definitely potential in the Psycho/Norman Bates meets road trip gone wrong story.

Nicole Saunders has spent her summer after college moping and in misery over her cheating ex. Her BFF's Tyler and Kacey convince her that what she needs is a weekend away with some friends at a music festival. But the 6 friends get lost along the way, winding up in the middle of nowhere at the Creek Motel. But this is not an ordinary, out of the way motel, which Nikki, Tyler and Kacey learn the morning after an argument leads to a sexy ménage between the three. Nikki knows that something stinks at the Creek Motel, but if she keeps on digging, they might all wind up dead.

CREAK was a different kind of erotic suspense (for me). It was filled with a lot of creepy people, a lot of death, and a really weird vibe. Set in the Midwest, it features six friends who wind up at a rundown motel in the middle of nowhere, where the proprietors are psychopaths. Now, I love romantic suspense, and I adore me some ménage action, but nothing about CREAK did it for me. From the British spellings (again…set in the US Midwest), to the NA aged characters, to the strained dialogue, to the sincere lack of chemistry between Nicole, Tyler and Kacey, it was a frustrating read for me. With just one so-so sex scene, it didn't even give me enough good stuff to get me through! I know this book has really great reviews, and I'm sure that those who enjoy the shivery, dark side of books will really like this, but those things combined with the totally aborted ending left me frustrated and ready to end this experience.

Bottom Line: MFM sharing; condom use; no BDSM/kink; sexual assault; violence, loads of murder.

Wow! My heart is still racing! Get your popcorn ready! Creak sends us on an incredible adventure as it spins a web of suspense, horror, thriller, menage and erotica.
Nikki and her college friends are on their way to The Heat Wave Festival. They took a short cut through Silver Creek and ended up lost. Finally spying the Creek Motel, they decided to rest for the night. A mistake that will haunt them forever!

My first read by this author. This Erotic Suspense Thriller leans more toward the Erotica genre than the Suspense Thriller, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat and there is a heavy creep factor in it. My only complaint is that I wish it had a been a longer book, I'd have liked to have gotten more time with the characters and had the suspense drawn out longer only because I was getting lost in it and then it was over. For a quick read with suspense, bone-chilling creep factor, and a sensual break for a different kind of thrill, I recommend giving this one a read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is an atmospheric, quick and suspenseful erotic menage story short. I really enjoyed it.

Nicole Saunders is a likable character. She has withdrawn from relationships due to a bad break up with her ex. Her friends, in an effort to get her out of the doldrums, invite her to the Heat Wave Festival. When they find themselves lost, they find a motel called The Creek Motel. Unfortunately, something sinister lurks within its walls.

Having previously read a contemporary romance and a paranormal romance series from this author, when she contacted me to ask if I would be interested in reading her short erotic suspense novella, I promptly said yes.

I started to read and was quickly hooked. The story is mostly told through the eyes of Nicole. However, there is a sinister presence lurking at the motel and the reader gets to see things through their point of view. This gives the story a decidedly chilling feel and builds the suspense nicely. I liked meeting the various characters. Kacey and Tyler have been friends with Nicole for years - since childhood. Jayne, Shauna and Craig are also Nicole's friends and join them for a weekend at the Festival.

I must admit that I haven't read many menage stories, but was pleasantly surprised and delighted with this one. My only complaint is that this novella was too short! I would have liked to have a little more of the suspense drawn out and maybe another missing person or two before the culprit was captured. In fact, if one was to take out the erotica component and embellish the story with more creepy goings on, this would make one suspenseful thriller. However, be that as it may, the trio of Nicole, Kasey and Tyler are extremely hot together, though I would have also liked a little more "them time", if you get my meaning. They may have been friends from childhood, but their relationship as a threesome is brand new and could have had a little more exploration time too.
I reached the end of the book with mixed feelings; this story left me wanting more.

Elizabeth Morgan has written a fast paced and exciting short erotic thriller. I love her fast paced writing style, and the story flow was wonderful. I have added her to my favourite authors list.

Due to scenes of a sexual nature, as well as some explicit bad language and violence, I do not recommend this book for readers under the age of 18. I do, however, highly recommend this book if you love thrillers, menage, erotica or erotic suspense. - Lynn Worton

Erotic Thriller (I wouldn't call it a romance, personally, but there are romantic feelings in there too).

THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

Kayce and Tyler are both delish, and I have to be honest and say that I wanted more of them!

The thriller aspect is well written: creepy motel in the middle of nowhere, run by weirdos that you just KNOW are going to be bad news.

Nicole is your average girl recovering from a bad break-up. Lucky she's got her two best [male] buds to help her out of her slump ;) And even luckier that they happen to find themselves shacked up in a motel having lost their way while driving... or is it?

Okay, I admit it. I wanted more when I reached the end. I wanted a book two that tells you all about what happens next - about how they go from here as a threesome (or twosome?). I loved how Kayce and Tyler thought about Nicole - in very different ways - and I wanted more of a resolution for each of them on that, but only because this is a standalone book... if I KNOW there are going to be more books (and the author has hinted that she may consider it) I will take that sentence back and wait patiently (not) for the next one.

I want to know about potentially more creepy places they find themselves in and what other sexy adventures they might have next. I'm thinking "The Adventures of Kayce and Tyler" or an erotic thriller series called "Nikki's Boys". Okay... so I'm just throwing ideas out there because ... ELIZABETH, I WANT MORE OF THIS! I don't care what you call it, just give me more! Lol.

A great read if you want something a little chilling and sexy too - it took me just over an hour to read.

Creak

4 out of 5 stars for this book. Melt the pages erotica and then totally creepy and leaves you wanting your mommy, horror for the thriller.

Nikki is not doing a good jog of getting over her ex. Her best friends have all be trying to her keep it together but she's just not ready to move on. Finally she agreed that maybe they need to just blow off some steam and super sexy Ty and Kacey convince her to come with them out of town, even if it is with a few other friends in tow.

Of course their trip gets off to a bad start and they get stranded at a creepy motel I the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. After a few drinks bring some real feelings to light, Nikki isn't having such a hard time getting over her ex anymore. As a matter of fact, he's not even a distant memory as Ty and Kacey both show her how much she deserves more.

Unfortunately for her room mate, someone else is taking advantage of that distraction and she isn't going to be around anymore when Nikki comes back from her night of fun with the guys. When Nikki got that bad vibe from meeting the owners, she really had no idea how right she was about how the rest of their stay was about to turn out.

This book was like one of those soda pop commercials with the best of both worlds for both him and her! There's horror and action and melt the pages erotica with romance.

Creak, by Elizabeth Morgan, is an enjoyable erotic thriller. The collection of main characters in Creak helps to provide an element of depth in this erotic tension fuelled short. Nicole, Kacey and Tyler have many endearing qualities, so much so that when events escalate in this novella, I was happily cheering them on and was likewise anxious and concerned.

The story moves fast, and as such so does the dialogue and interaction. There's no beating around the bush with these characters. Sometimes, reactions seemed a little too hasty and unrealistic, especially toward the end, yet overall, I was content with the heat rating and tense drama.
If you are looking for a sexy Ménage à trois novella, with a thriller plot to drive the story forward, then I'm sure you'll enjoy Creak. A sexy 3.5 fairies.

Disclosure: Creak was received from the author for free in exchange for an HONEST and not necessarily positive review.

This was an interesting book. Fast paced, it's over before it starts. I have to say that you will need to heed the warning that is in place. If you do not like this type of book please do not pick it up.

The story starts out strong. We get to know the main characters quickly. I feel that the story doesn't have to much time to progress and become a story properly. I feel that Nicole gets what she wants when she wants it. I think that maybe some of the things should of been a bit harder for her to gain.

I also feel that there should of been more development of the people that ran the motel that they stopped at. Also, a bit more about George and the inner workings of him.

Overall the book was decent and like I said a fast paced book. Please just remember to heed the warning about the book. She does a really good job describing the scenes. Her writing overall is excellent.

Creak, by Elizabeth Morgan,is an erotic thriller. Basically, a group of college friends are on a road trip when they become lost and decide to stay at a motel. Sounds good so far! I was not disappointed. This book is fast-paced, hot and scary. The erotic parts were spared no details ad three friends finally give in to their feelings and curiosity. The scary parts have you checking your closet for trapdoors.
Overall, I truly enjoyed this book. I didn't like that it ended so quickly. I want to read more about Nikki, Kacey and Tyler. I hope Ms. Morgan gives us more!!!

This is a quick, hot, thrilling read that gets the heart pumping and the panties melting. A great mix of sex, thrills and a bonus creep factor that I really enjoyed reading.

If you are looking for in depth character and plot development, you will need to find it elsewhere but if you up want a satisfying read that gets to the good stuff fast and hard, this short novella will surely hit the mark.

Creak may have you checking your closet changing your panties and before hitting the sheets. ;)

A group of friends end up staying at a motel where all is not as it seems. Cue excitement and danger within the motel. Well worth a read.
